have a nice day you useless kiddie homosexual
Maybe you should design some friends.
does he have a dildo getting in his ass everytime he gets a hit or something?
If you have to ask you lack the basic research ability needed.
This is hard for a certain variety of noob to understand, but you must be effective at information gathering so you don't need to ask basic questions. This is not to avoid asking them, but to become an effective researcher.
Allocate several thousand dollars at least to begin with and you might get it done.
Why don't you go back to whatever reddit tradie general you came from?
Why don't you not ask every moronic noob question that falls out of your head? You will never build it. We know your kind and I refuse to humor your bullshit dreams.
>That's going to be at least an order of magnitude above what is reasonable for a hobbyist PrepHoleer to expect to accomplish.
You write that while someone posted a simple to build rig which was obviously done in a fricking shed a few posts above you which does exactly that.
You're obviously moronic.

I must be blind because I don't see plans for a home rig that can turn completely upside down.

I don't think you understand what I mean. I mean something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI70pLFY7gQ
Don't move the goalposts, you turboBlack person. A hobbyist built that in his garage, and he's not the only one.

I could see it work skip the see through crap make a ball made of steel use electric motors to run tires that the ball will sit on. use a micro controller to run the wheels to spin the ball on demand. have extra exit holes or it will be a death trap when it malfunctions
Idk it's a pretty straight forward sort of project.
Square/rectangular steel pipe, cheap stick welder, cheap automatic helmet, angle grinder are about all the tools one ought to need.
Some flange bearings with screw holes, the guy you linked seems to use geared servo motors, by the size of them i would guess 600-800W each, so still pretty cheap.
For the servos and especially servo controllers, look for DIY CNC machine info, literally tons of stuff online for that.
You'll have to either do some basic math of the weight you want to haul around, and calculate the forces to size the motors, or do what everyone actually does: oversize them and don't give a shit, less thinking but ofc more expensive.
Me personally I would take some safety precaution, because you'll end up with some bug in some software which will turn a tad nasty.
First, like any CNC machine, have an emergency stop button, maybe 2-3 in different places. If one of your arms pinched by the machine, you want to have an alternative. Maybe one per hand + 1 footpedal.
Secondly, i would put up a cage of sorts to keep the arms inside, to remove crush hazard. Bonus points for a lockout switch.
Thankfully this is all standard shit for the CNC crowd, so you can just use all of the existing breakout boards etc which have this shit for standard.
Biggest price point is the motors + controllers, rest is kinda cheap after that. I think it's doable for ~3-5k$, not including a PC or VR headset, on the order of what a stout cnc router would cost.
A plastic sphere with a lockable door that you can sit inside
Give it a y and x axis by wrapping two tracks around it.
One track wrapped around vertically
Another track wrapped around horizontally
Then sit it inside a carved out base on two motors each with a pinion gear contacting the tracks
There now with the right software you have pitch yaw and tilt
I don't know how you do this without killing yourself

Take a Stewart platform, bolt car seat on it, done
I don't think you understand what I mean. I mean something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI70pLFY7gQ
A Stewart platform has 6DOF and used in actual professional flight sims.
Are 360° rolls important to you?

Yes.

Pity. That's going to be at least an order of magnitude above what is reasonable for a hobbyist PrepHoleer to expect to accomplish.

No worries, OP is a tourist who was looking for a fantasy solution he will never try anyway.
