Resell on eBay. Start with a zero bid. You will likely lose money on shipping. Notice the velocity of these units on eBay? Check the eBay ask price before buying? No? I thought not. You have a shitty smartphone, you could have checked the price first.
Are you planning on starting a small call center?
This is fricking hilarious, he bought a PBX with missing expansion cards.
Depends entirely what server you bought. Manufacturers usually have data sheets for the specific unit or composition you have. It could have anything from negative value to maybe a hundred bucks
you fricked up.
this is one of your life lessons.
don't buy things until you know what you're buying it for.
don't buy an item and then try to find a use for it, that's backwards.
Depending on the storage you're willing to supplement it with, I'd say set up a plex server with Sonarr and Radarr automation applications, which are super easy to configure. Then sell access to your friends and family for 5 bucks a month like a new streaming service. Just put out all the new releases, and they'd happily pay to use it. Set up a Patreon so that you can get easy and forgettable monthly subscriptions without much hassle.
If you get 10 reoccurring users, you can be earning 50 bucks a month to scale it up. Invest in faster internet, more NAS servers, etc. I'd also look into getting into private trackers and even take requests on the Patreon for movies.
Delusional and sad. At least if you live in a first world country.
A. That’s a pbx you dumb shit
B. Even if it wasn’t this is the stupidest shit I’ve read. You’d need a fat pipe to serve that many users, you’d need capable hardware to transcode streams because lord knows they’ll watch on all sorts of dumb shit, plex will rat on you, patreon will drop you as soon as they realize what you’re doing, serving them from your house means you get served with 50 notices at once and your isp might actually do something more than the standard empty threat letter if they catch you serving tons of illegal files, home internet in the us often has bandwidth caps and fricked upload speeds, etc.
if you want to set up a media nas go for it (frick plex though, jellyfin doesn’t snitch) but monetizing it is a dumb idea unless you live somewhere terrible where copyright laws can’t touch you. If that’s the case go big and just make one of those ad laden streaming sites like 123movies or whatever

i did look up the parts and they ranged from 100 to 300 even individual cards in the unit they seemed to have some monetary value but seems like ill be happy to break even?
included in the purchase
You bought some old junk equipment that you don't know how to use and didn't have any need for. You're an idiot.
Any tips i just took a hunch and made the purchase

I regularly find far more capable machines in the dumpster at work and on the curb. OP, that system is e-waste
For example I scored an i7-4770 system with 8GB of ram today, stripped the CPU, RAM and network card then chucked the remainder
That's a high end, super duper, bit coin miner. Plug it in and get 10 bit coins every month. You're gonna be rich!
