    >2000 rounds
That’s a lot of staying power. 20mm is nothing to laugh off either. It can deal with infantry and most lightly armored vehicles

Yes and no. They'll be upgraded (at least their ATGMs) and will serve alongside the Puma. Don't know if they'll eventually be completely replaced by Pumas.

They carried MILANs since the 70s and are firing Spikes nowadays. Get back to your corner.

It's not native though, it leaves the gunner exposed.
By that logic the ACAV M113 is also capable of using ATGMs since it has a dude with a Javelin

You couldn't have picked a worse example considering a number of countries have bolted various ATGMs to M113s historically.
Of course having an ATGM integrated into the FCS is better than one bolted to the roof, but having it in the first place is much better than not.

Obviously, the added benefit is the tranported soldier are able to place portable ATGM

Germany operates the Puma as it's primary IFV right now (or at least that was the plan, it's been a weird program) but it still has a ton of Marder's in storage. Supposedly the have over 1000 in storage and used in secondary roles.

There was literally nothing wrong with the thread about ATGMs and you frickers killed it for no reason all because you had to spazz the frick out over absolutely fricking nothing.

Yes, I'm fricking mad that we can't have any threads about anything without you shitheads ruining everything.

    Legitimate schizoid behavior, seek help.

I didn't even know that Germany transferred any Marders, I thought they only sent APCs.

90 or at least it should amount to 90. Four destroyed, three damaged and abandoned.

      >I didn't even know that Germany transferred

      Delivered military support to Ukraine:
90 infantry fighting vehicles MARDER with ammunition and spare parts (from Bundeswehr and industry stocks*)

      source:
      https://www.bundesregierung.de/breg-en/news/military-support-ukraine-2054992

      Oryx counts 7 losses

so there are up to 83 Marders in active service in Ukraine right now.

        Neat.

        >have they been replaced by the lynx?
        Germany isn't buying Lynx
They're for countries that can't afford Puma

I thought a Lynx variant was still in the running for the Bradley replacement program?
