i love this little guy like you wouldnt believe. SOP has them carrying around 2000 rounds. does germany still operate them or have they been replaced by the lynx?

>2000 rounds
That’s a lot of staying power. 20mm is nothing to laugh off either. It can deal with infantry and most lightly armored vehicles
didnt they send all to ukraine? probably blown up by now
They only sent a handful to youkrane
your hand got 90 fingers?
>Following sales and exports to various countries, an estimated 1067 remain in storage in various states of combat-capability as of 2023.
>The Bundeswehr has approximately 262 active service Marder 1A3 following the transfer of 20 to Ukraine from its stocks in 2023
>does germany still operate them or have they been replaced by the lynx?
Yes and no. They'll be upgraded (at least their ATGMs) and will serve alongside the Puma. Don't know if they'll eventually be completely replaced by Pumas.
>does germany still operate them
yes
>didnt they send all to ukraine? probably blown up by now
no
Supposedly they are still in use with the bundsheudnshsjdbdheheh. I’ve always heard good things about them and they have a stellar combat record
>20mm cannon
>Carries less than a squad
>No ATGM
I still wonder what marks the difference between IFVs and up-armed APCs
You forgot entered service in 1972. It was revolutionary when it entered service
They carried MILANs since the 70s and are firing Spikes nowadays. Get back to your corner.
It's not native though, it leaves the gunner exposed.
By that logic the ACAV M113 is also capable of using ATGMs since it has a dude with a Javelin
You couldn't have picked a worse example considering a number of countries have bolted various ATGMs to M113s historically.
Of course having an ATGM integrated into the FCS is better than one bolted to the roof, but having it in the first place is much better than not.
Obviously, the added benefit is the tranported soldier are able to place portable ATGM
You're talking to armatard.
Don't give him the time of day kek
>No ATGM
at least try to get the bare minimum right
Germany operates the Puma as it's primary IFV right now (or at least that was the plan, it's been a weird program) but it still has a ton of Marder's in storage. Supposedly the have over 1000 in storage and used in secondary roles.
There was literally nothing wrong with the thread about ATGMs and you frickers killed it for no reason all because you had to spazz the frick out over absolutely fricking nothing.
Yes, I'm fricking mad that we can't have any threads about anything without you shitheads ruining everything.
>thread about IFVs not being equipped with atgms
>clearly this is about me and this thing i have decided to make my personality
>n-n-no you see all these schizo posts are actually this other person false flagging! no, i won't just call them out on false flagging, i will instead continue to shit in threads and double down that every thread about this topic is made by this one person
Legitimate schizoid behavior, seek help.
I didn't even know that Germany transferred any Marders, I thought they only sent APCs.
>I didn't even know that Germany transferred any Marders
90 or at least it should amount to 90. Four destroyed, three damaged and abandoned.
>I didn't even know that Germany transferred
Delivered military support to Ukraine:
90 infantry fighting vehicles MARDER with ammunition and spare parts (from Bundeswehr and industry stocks*)
source:
https://www.bundesregierung.de/breg-en/news/military-support-ukraine-2054992
Oryx counts 7 losses
so there are up to 83 Marders in active service in Ukraine right now.
Neat.
I thought a Lynx variant was still in the running for the Bradley replacement program?
It's just a good, solid IFV.
>have they been replaced by the lynx?
Germany isn't buying Lynx
They're for countries that can't afford Puma
>does germany still operate them or have they been replaced by the lynx?
Lynx is an even bigger shit show than Ajax. Krauts gunna be running around in Marders until at least the end of this decade
>20 posts deleted
What did I miss?
The usual shitflinging between armatard and anti-armatard.
>Warriortard started to false flag
>gets called out
>Warriortard starts to sperg around like usual when this happened
>janny removes the whole thing
kek, we can't have discussions about IFVs because of one fricking ultra-sperg. I hate that guy, but it is funny.
Warriortard, why do you always have to be such a homosexual?
Gotta get your milelage on your freshly-made lame picture, eh?
I like when the skirts cover the rollers in the zigzagging pattern like this some reason.
>SOP has them carrying around 2000 rounds.
If Ukraine has taught us anything it’s that a good beltfeed direct fire autocanon is invaluable.
>If Ukraine has taught us anything it’s that a good beltfeed direct fire autocanon is invaluable.
indeed

The fact that you're stuck on this board 24/7 malding about bongs will never not be hilarious.
>It cries out in pain as soon it sees tbharchive
Lmao
btw, on top of the 90 Marder Ukraine got Germany is planning to deliver at least 30 more
Do we have any Marder Ukraine kino?
