Yeah, it was actually very good and effective, though.
Imagine:

> Full body flame and flash protection
> Loose, easy-to-wear garments that provide 100% range of motion
> A kilt to protect the groin from frag, no ridiculous "frag-proof underwear" or dick plates that you can hardly walk in, let alone run in.

The armor is a typical Eastern soldier from what is known as the Post Atomic Horror. You know, the WWIII that Strange New Worlds was caused by the Jan. 6 incident.
