I know everybody is currently more interested in the counteroffensive stuff, but searching the archive I didn't see anybody mention it but the supposed Lancet hit on the TMRL-4D radar did not damage a TMRL-4D radar.

Someone did ask them regarding if this was in response to the Hensoldt "no comment" statement but they say the source is not from a public statement. Lots of uncertainties given that opsec would prevent any actual statements confirming/denying damage though. Now the question is, assuming the information is correct, did they miss or was it a decoy?
How are you supposed to hide a radar anyway. It sits there blasting out kilowatts of energy.
Here's a screencap from the indian lancet shill's webm, can't really tell if it's a decoy and while it seems to be aimed at the radar the lack of footage of the actual explosion despite a different drone being overhead and filming could indicate a miss.
Nets, keeping it mobile, making the radar harder to detect, which is a thing despite the kilowatts of energy.
why is it as white as hell
like they wanted to draw attention
It was not a decoy and it was hit by the lancet, the simple fact is - a little lancet warhead can't pierce or damage the Iris protection.
It's a fricking radar, there's not much protection on it. The only 2 possibilities are it was a decoy or it missed.
Or it hit and everyone's just coping.
The rest of the video showed its operators fleeing
Where's the proofs? The drone overhead was recording when the lancet hit, why has that footage not been uploaded?
It's a completely new weapon system and that radar is heavily protected...
why the frick is there a guy on top of that? shirtless too, at that?
can someone please fricking tell me and explain this because it's fricking puzzling to me. is the guy photoshopped in? is it a joke pic or what
please answer someone. why
no one seems to be bothered by it either, like it's completely normal? tf
looks like some homie on PCP
It's summer over there you dingus.
but what is he doing on top of the vehicle? wtf
are they just having a laugh among themselves goofing around or
He's grinding his power level by absorbing the radar's glorious rays.
They're also keeping him warm so he can do his dance all year.
It's very warm right now, also he was probably being microwaved by the radar.
That's what the average Ukrainian looks like.

you aren't going to get good sources on this kind of shit
You don't hide it, you use it as bait.
Integrated and layered air defences to kill whatever goes for the radar. Multiple radars with overlapping coverage taking turns operating. Regular repositioning, jamming incomings, SHORAD, etc, etc.
>good luck! Im behind seven (proxy) radars!
its funny because its true
>The radar is the bait
Shouldn't it be protecting other things instead of itself?
IRIS-T ground radar systems are super rare, basically all fresh off the manufacturing line, no?
>IRIS-T ground radar
I think it's more of a general purpose surveillance radar that works well with the ground-launched IRIS-T, but yes, those are 2-3 years old at most. Probably a pretty high value target.
It was a decoy. Pretty clever.
Maybe they just had a spare dish or something. Or shaped charges just don't do much to this kind of target.
or it veered wildly off the course just before hitting like we have seen lancets do quite a few times
