get the mini master rubber grips and they're actually pleasant to hold and shoot.
I just took it to the range, I didn't mind the wood grips when shooting it and i like the look of wood

Nice! You should look into seeing if they make .22 Xtreme Penetrator for all your self defense needs.
They're cute and fun, and they make great self-defense guns if you can get close enough to shove the muzzle up your attacker's nose.
I consider it as brass knuckles with an extended range.
I shot the 22 mag version and it felt more intense to shoot than a 44.
