I jerk off strawberries

Yeah it's kinda gay
Is there a better way to do this hydroponicbros?
I'd like to scale up from the few test plants, but it will be a lot of work if I do.

That'll probably be your answer for not having to do it yourself.

Too hot outside for strawbs, don't want bees inside.
      >inb4 move north
I think I'll train a toddler to do it.

bees use uv light to identify pollen centers, might make you faster. could also make it easier to train the plant or selectively breed for easier to find and more colorful flowers.
    do you replant every season?

      >do you replant every season?
I basically picked up those bonnie strawberries from Lowes or Walmart(I remember blue) 3 years ago, kept them outside until this summer and had no results with them. Put them into pots inside and now they are producing.
So you could say that I only have a vague idea of wtf am I doing.

Monarch butterflies could do the same job and are cool to look at it. Bonus, no pointy butt

How many plants do you want to expand the operation to? If you only have a few, just keep pollinating them yourself.
Your only other option is growing them outdoors where bees can do the work for you. Strawberries have been thriving in nature for a lot longer than they've been growing inside your house. If your plants don't produce well, perhaps try another variety, some might work better in your climate than others.

Brobably about 15 or so plants, just for my family to have strawbs, not trying to sell.
      >outside
I was stinking of finding some early variety, instead of day neutrals. Spring starts in february and then we have a second spring mid september. Summer is too hot for most plants to fruit, best I can do is keep them alive thru it and even that can cost a lot of water. I had good sucess this season building wicking garden beds using nylon rope to slurp up water from sealed containers under the raised beds.

I use a computer fan to blow the pollen around, works for peppers, don’t see why it wouldn’t for strawberries

Yeah worth a try, I'll place a desk fan next to them and see what happens.

You need an enclosed space of course, there’s a fan on the other sides that runs the other way so when they’re on its a turbulent flow that just circulates the pollen and drops it on the plant. I wait until there’s lots of flowers for maximum stamen and then run it a few times a day for 2 minutes
