I have this snapper mower. The spark plug cable is trashed. It's part of this other pieces that doesn't look cheap. What do I need to replace? Can I just trim the cable and attach a new head? Crimping tool might be cheaper

Yeah. Looking at your picture, the cable looks OK except for the clip on the spark plug. Just buy new parts at auto parts shop, trim cable and crimp on. It looks like you have enough slack to make a new connection at the plug end.
Try to avoid cutting the existing cable too close to the magneto. The high voltage termination there is potted and a couple of screwed up splice attempts and you'll need to replace that whole a$$embly.

This one will run fine for about 5 minutes then start to slow down, bogs down, and then I cant start it again. No ignition. Has spark but it leaks around the cable
magnetos are cheap, buy a new one.

Check your fuel lines too. The rubber lines tend to get brittle and crack. When I have those symptoms on other small engines, it’s often the fuel lines or sometimes a leaky primer bulb because the lines have enough fuel to get the carb wet and run it for a couple minutes and then it starves as the air gets sucked in the cracks and it dies.

I guess that depends on what your definition of "cheap" is.
If you do replace it, you'll want to be sure to align and space it correctly ... put a thin card between the magneto and the flywheel rotor when you tighten down the magneto, that's about the right amount of gap.

Are you talking playing card or business card or Speedy Rewards card or credit card?
Unless you've got a set of feeler gauges and know what the correct spec should be, which obviously would be more precise, a business card or playing card gets you into "close enough" range.
Ahh I have the feeler gauges, I didn’t use them the last time I changed an ignition coil. I just put it up against the flywheel and barely backed it off so it spun free and she ran good.

Mine did, bought cheap from Amazon, it literally said to use "a business card"
In all fairness, there may have been chinglish instructions that I promptly threw into the ocean.
