I honestly don't think you can beat the Maverick 88 if you're a turbopoorgay, but really any of the 500 series is good if you can swing a little more to get one as nice as you want.
The true undervalue poorgay gun is the winchester 120/1200/1300. You can get them for like <$200 sometimes.
I got a 1300 XTR for just $250, practically brand new condition, and it is a beautiful and very functional gun.

Anons, would you buy a Benelli Montefeltro pre-05 that has a cracked stock and cracked triggerguard but costs only $250? It shoots, the cracks are all repaired (but I'd repair them better if I buy it). It's pretty nice otherwise.
If you have a need for a semi auto field gun yeah; they go for about 4x that brand new.
