Yes, though I wonder if it was supposed to be removed in operation. Looks like a garage-only sort of thing b/c of how small the rear wheel is.
Honestly the boring answer that seems most likely to me is it’s a prototype for a mine roller to go on the front of another tank panther or tiger maybe. Looks a bit like the big rollers used on the Sherman’s etc.
its barb wire squashing roller - you just fire it up and it goes straight (in theory) until it stops stuck in enemy trench (and maybe explodes) - this small wheel in the back is only useful on paved ground - forward motion of "wheels" would squash it into ground anyway

[...] >mine roller
Agree.
Why do you morons think it's a mine roller? It' doesn't cover anywhere near enough width to allow other vehicles to pass behind it, and it's far too lightly built to take a mine hit. Not to mention the idea of putting someone inside a mine roller is beyond idiotic.
Its a post-war fraud made by the Russians basically. No metalurgy tests are allowed on it, because it'd be revealed it's just some piece of shit fake tank they made to make Nazis look bad.
I mean think for a second, this thing is too small to actually fit a person, gun, and ammo inside with an engine, and that little wheel out the back wouldn't work either.
Its russian-made bullshit to promote their tank museum. Look at the welds on that rear piece. You think Germans would've seriously welded anything that poorly?
We have no way of knowing if the shitty welds were Russians trying to repair it or if they were "factory". Also remember that electric welding was still in its infancy in WWII and the US was really the only power that did it well. The Liberty Ships being welded instead of riveted was fancy newfangled tech at the time. And it didn't work so hot since a few of them broke in half.
They were built for future use in case the Reich suffered from Pride or BLM marches and needed a rapid solution that fits down standard streets. If the west was not controlled by Israel they would be reactivated and put into immediate use against the GlobalHomo.
neither did the germans
Twisted metal used to be cool in Germany
AXEL POWER
would it just tip forward if there was a slight decline

Perpetual motion vehicle for the inner walls of the hollow earth.
some kraut played too much war thunder and got obsessed with eliminating all shot traps
There was never an official source/design saying that that crap was a tank or a weapon.
Could have been some kraut bored at the tank garage
weird that there is almost no info available

dose not need people, could have been a robot.
>that little wheel out the back wouldn't work either
the wheel gives away that it could not work
Then why does it have a porthole?
Camera?
