I would try mineral spirits or xylene and a rag. Make sure you have good ventilation

Thanks for the suggestion but wont that just leave another stain like the rubbing alcohol did?
I was thinking of taking it to a restoration shop or maybe try to find out where it was bought from and then I can buy a new one

Xylene isn't available in all places sadly
I have to go to neighboring states to buy it

The rubbing alcohol will eventually take it up, as good as anything will. Alcohol is the proper solvent for those types of inks, and it turning into a puddle means it is dissolving it. It might take a while, but you're going to have to keep at it and use more paper towels to pick it up. If it's unfinished wood, you might be better off sanding it down.

The finish on the wood is probably alcohol soluble, like shellac.

An old trick you can use in some circumstances with wood, and leather and more, is to use a pencil eraser. You can use one of the big ones from schools. Just a big fat eraser.
