>I doubt this would be buyable there.
think you could but you would need the shark grip and if it came with belts then they would need a restrictor to keep them in links of ten (otherwise you could just have your 10+ long links that you totally aquired before 2013)
I haven't bought a single thing for myself in a long time. Plus my Job is easy, without trying to brag i have 654k in my bank and several thousand dollars in gold, i house that's paid for, a truck that's paid for, and literally nothing else, i'm not in debt to anything.
I would suggest taking some of that cash in the bank and either buying a couple thousand s&p indices or more gold, or be even smarter and buy several hundred thousand XRP
you do realize it's an exact same build of the M249 except for the added rails inside the receiver to prevent a full auto trigger group and guts (Which can be removed fyi) and the gun is made by the exact same company, you know that, right? Not some shitty off brand clone. And since when is 10k a poorgay gun? holy shit, you're either so rich you think 10k is chump change or you have no real concept of money, and i'm leaning towards the latter.
Ah never mind then. Point still stands for buying an actual pre-86 machine gun though. OP is a moron.
The real big brain move is to get your FFL/SOT, and buy the pre-86 dealer sample beretta 93r machine pistol on armsunlimited, and then let your SOT expire and keep the gun
>The real big brain move is to get your FFL/SOT, and buy the pre-86 dealer sample beretta 93r machine pistol on armsunlimited, and then let your SOT expire and keep the gun
Spoken like a true Non-SOT. It's so annoying when people just casually say "just get your FFL/SOT" yeah, right, like the people telling me that same regurgitated line actually have an SOT themselves.

Doesn’t seem that hard if you have frick you NFA money

There isn't anything i really want that i can't already get. Being an SOT is useless to me tbh. Why would i wanna buy a 93r? sure they cool, but not 40k cool. I'll buy one for 2k tops. Besides if i really wanted the M249s to shoot full auto the conversion isn't that hard, but luckily for the ATF i'm a good boy that doesn't care all that much about full auto. I already have a few legal pre-86 machine guns, and i never shoot them, they just gather dust in my safe like all my other shit. I'm more into decorating my man cave these days.

Not the same guy. What is the bare minimum effort one has to put in to get and maintain their SOT. You have to be engaged in the business of firearms in some capacity, right? How many guns made or sold annually constitutes “business’?
Are there state-by-state restrictions on what an SOT can and can’t do? California prohibits SBRs for example, but can SOT’s still make them?

Sorry, you're asking the wrong guy, it's obviously not impossible to maintain an FFL/SOT to a bare minimum level, but it's more effort than i'm willing to put into it. I hear different things about how "counter top FFL's are much harder to get now" or that the ATF is cracking down on those who are only in it for the toys and not as an actual job. Not sure how true that is, but that's what people tell me sometimes. I've literally met maybe 2 FFL's here on /k/, you're better off asking that question on a legitimate board like Ar15.com, or hell, even plebbit if you can endure that kinda torture.

remember that you can get an FFL if all you do is want to receive gun manufacturing trade group catalogs and membership. The amount of "business" you need to do is laughable and if you can finagle your way around local zoning the ATF basically has to approve your application.
The ATF considers it a crime for you to use another's FFL to do something you yourself could be licensed for. Remember that.

I’d say it’s relatively easy these days with gunbroker, being able to buy and sell guns online. To get the perks of “keeper” NFA guns, you really only have to keep up the charade for as long as it takes the purchase to go through
>i have 654k in my bank
I used to have a hard time believing this shit on here but I recently found out the chinese girl I'm marrying has half a mil in the bank and that's all purely from working as a shitty underpaid game dev while being frugal and dumping savings into high interest bonds so now I just don't know anymore bros
The money i have in my bank isn't that impressive in the big picture. Anyone who's willing to put in the effort can get to where i am with relative ease. Plus if something happens to my parents i get all the money since i'm an only child. So basically a million+ dollars coming my way and i get to collect on an insurance policy. Sorry for sounding like a shitty humble bragger, but yeah, the former half of my sentence is true though, if you put in the effort, it's not that hard.

Be like her. I'm poor for America and make only about 60K in retirement. However I am debt free (ordinary retired enlisted, just not stupid) half of which is disposable income. I'm crippled or I'd have worked longer at fun gigs like teaching welding for more toy money.
No debt, plenty of toys (mechanic and monster DIYer since youth) and no worries.
Poverty for anyone not moronic or cripped in the US is basically voluntary but people are taught to follow their childish dreams rather than dream and do wisely. Your gf is wise. Let her run the money if you get hitched.
No, lol. I have a man cave in my house that's basically secured for the most part and it's mainly just going to be a gun for decoration next to my other guns.
Not wanting to brag here but I fricked better looking prostitutes for a couple hundreds... (not for free ofc I'm ugly tho)
I don't actually have the gun in hand yet, but yeah, i'm pretty excited. Should be a great little conversation piece.
No get yourself some links and crates of ammo and go blast some stuff, we had a semi auto mg34 at my (euro, sadly cucked into oblivion) range and it was piss easy to stay on a man sized target at 200 m (220yd) while spamming 8mauser from prone, 556 from a heavy gun will be a cakewalk up to 300 I guess.
I'm glad you're happy with your purchase anon but I just have to say that the only good thing about the saw is that it was full auto. Other than being able to rip off a belt in FA, I fricking hated that thing.
Granted the ones I used were all blown out prostitutes that had been used and abused by like 2 different generations of morons so they weren't brand new, but still. If I were to drop some serious cash on a belt fed I'd probably get one of those lightfighter uppers and slap it on an FA ar lower and call it a day. If you're just getting it as a display queen though that's kind of cool
I’m not even jealous of this purchase. I’ve shot real SAWs and they’re kind of shit. Although like the other anon said, they’re fun because they’re full auto
If this anon really has over half a million dollars in his bank account he should have just bought a real full auto SAW/240
Can you really keep MGs after SOT expires? Seems like something you’re not allowed to do.
For $10-20k, dunno how much they are these days, OP could have gotten a DIAS, and for $30k a legit lower (or a full auto LPK and drillbit for $100 + keep your mouth shut nomsayin). A Full auto AR lower + heavy barrel + surefire OBC + 60+rd mag is basically an LMG
>Can you really keep MGs after SOT expires? Seems like something you’re not allowed to do.
You cannot keep machine guns that you personally manufactured nor can you keep post sample machine guns once you give up your SOT. You can however keep the (Keepers) once you forfeit your license, only a few machine guns fall under the (keeper) category. Like some beretta 93'r's are keepers, and some Mp5's are keepers, but guns like the Mp7 and kriss vector are forever stuck in belonging to the government. Pretty sure i saw a M249 as a keeper once, but it was like 50k+ So yeah, lol. No telling what that stuff goes for now accounting for inflation and what not.
cool OP I have a semi auto cucked one too. it’s a safe queen these days but turns a bunch of heads at the range and great conversation starter. it’s just a cool piece of history to own.
>doesnt post proof
>instead of going PrepHole and having fun he feels the need to use /ks as his personal blog
Shut. up.
I just ordered it today.
Yes, they allow full auto.
I have no idea. I'm not even sure it's possible to convert it lol. But if someone wants to enlighten me, please do so.
>I just ordered it today.
Every flexBlack person says this, post receipt
Does your range let you spam shots?
I'm curious
Does It have some sort of bolt stop or can you tacticly detach trigger group and let it go full-auto?
Why? SAW is cool and all, but there’s no point. Do you usually just use the AR mag port?
It just looks cool to me, it's more a less a glofied piece of furniture.
Is it ok to rack the bolt back when on safe?
Should be, i think? I'll make another lame thread here in a week showcasing it so people can call me a moron once i actually have the gun in hand.
That’s kind of sad. At least shoot the thing. Have you ever shot a SAW before??
Do NOT let the bolt release forward on its own or you will frick up the gun. Ride the bolt forward with your hand on the charging handle
Larping is bad for your self esteem
I'm inclined to agree with that, however it still feels good to larp.
Only deer that glow in my driveway.
If i told you you could easily convert this to FA, would you? (dont answer this)
Information is legal son, spill the beans. Nobody here is a criminal.
please post info on what not to do, staying legal is an important thing to do, even if it is cucked.
You kill a lot of deer, eh?
how much you make a year? 10k ain't much if you're in a good earning position. I just want to know if you put yourself out for this or what.
basically 100k annually. Plus i've been saving for a long time. So, it's no biggi to drop 10k
Spending 10% of your income at one time is moronic
not him but nah, not if you're livin' slim, and especially if you're making over 80k a year.
Unless you live in cali but without even looking it up I doubt this would be buyable there.
>I doubt this would be buyable there.

well shit man, you lookin at getting a stamp on that thing?
?
I would suggest taking some of that cash in the bank and either buying a couple thousand s&p indices or more gold, or be even smarter and buy several hundred thousand XRP
What do you do and how do I get qualified for it?
Ok fair, disregard my moron helmet comment.
But why did you buy a semi auto m249? Is it just to flex on the poors?
What career do you have? Just curious, it sounds nice.
Why did you not buy a real machine gun if you have that much capital? Getting a shitty poorgay clone seems like a bad move.
>10k?
>poorgay

Are you gonna get a gat crank for it?
No, lol. I have a man cave in my house that's basically secured for the most part and it's mainly just going to be a gun for decoration next to my other guns.
why not buy two?

You paid 10k for a 17 pound semi auto 5.56 that does everything worse than an AR. your moron helmet is on too tight.
THE real m249. There is only one transferable m249 in existence
Ah never mind then. Point still stands for buying an actual pre-86 machine gun though. OP is a moron.
