Ah, I remember starting a new job and being all gung ho about fixing shit
I'm going to tell them the place is fricked and i want a couple euro more per hour
I don't know what i need before i know what tools or budget to ask for, but I'm left to my own devices so as long as I'm not raping them. But can you just tell me what i need?
Is that it? A bit of spray and a rag?
yeah. it should slowly bring out the lustre. If it continues to bother you at that point you need to get some polishers and more abrasions to bring the pattern back. I'd just use a bit of spray and keep it clean. The spray will smell a bit like a citrus peel and leave a semi-oily finish. This will dry in a day or so.
are they paying you to make it look better
whats your budget for renting and buying supplies
there should be some stainless steel spray somewhere. basically just rub a rag on it when you have a spare minute.
Make it completely dull with some scotch brite
Still would be preferable tbh
Dull*
just use a polish wheel on your angle grinder with a little cooling oil for lubrication
surface conditioning drum on a polisher
how did the elevator get to that state anyways
See:
Neglect I'm assuming. Current maintenance doesn't seem to care. Probably from moving furniture. They had some trades in sound a lot of work probably scraping the frick out of it
really sorry to disturb the thread i just want to check few things about PrepHole
really sorry to disturb the thread I just want to check my bank balance
really sorry to distrub the thread i just want to check my privilege
Tape it, prime it, paint it
You can try polish of some kind but it's probably shitty metal
Just get a wire cup brush and do a brushed pattern on it
What are you the managers b***h boy? Why the hell would you have to bother fixing that?
