this. they know they lost. So now they act purely out of spite targeting grain storages, shopping malls, maternity hospitals, civilian buildings. They simply want to kill as many ukranians as possible especially young women and children to reduce Ukraine population. There was the case in kiev region. When Russians kept gang raping 12 - 18 y.o. girls and said they would frick them hard so they wouldn't want to make ukranian children anymore, 9 of them got pregnant

Seeing as they're literally rescuing T-62s from scrapyards and Su-27s from museums, it's already been neutered. What you're seeing now is the agonal breathing from the Russian Army.

        >When Russians kept gang raping 12 - 18 y.o. girls

Since they were from the 64th Motor Rifle Brigade, hopefully all of them got sent straight to Hell within a month, courtesy of American-supplied M777s and Javelins. Honestly hope the Ukrainians massacre every last one of those slant-eyed vermin and that we eventually get in on the action too. I would gladly risk nuclear war just to see arrogant little wienereyed Russians be effortlessly slaughtered en masse by American air power.

        >and said they would frick them hard so they wouldn't want to make ukranian children anymore, 9 of them got pregnant

One of the only instances where I'm 100% in favor of abortions tbh. That and deformed/defective kids. Hope the doctors flushed every last one of those degenerate spawn out the womb and down the drain.

    A lot
They lost about 1.5k tanks, but their pre invasion active + operational reserve was 4.5k. On top of that further thousands of questionable quality in strategic reserve.

The most interesting question is regarding their artillery shells.
They inherited millions of them from SU, but:
    Chechnya 1
    Chechnya 2
    Georgia
    Syria
    2014-2022 war with Ukraine
and on top of that they were peddling a lot of their soviet stock to third world shitholes
Their current rate of fire might very well be unsustainable, since they're already begging belarus and iran for shells

Also, they lost like 6 ammo depots in the last week. Some looked pretty huge.

      >They lost about 1.5k tanks
Frankly I don't think this. Ukraine might not have pushed that much but if Russia keeps trying to hold the line despite all those tanks and shit, I'm becoming skeptical that there isn't a lot of wrecks behind the frontline at this point. We just don't get to see them because of course they won't photograph that shit.

It is, but China still lacks a lot of technology the USSR had ready access too. They build better electronics, but their engines (both diesel and turbine) and their avionics and hidraulics are supposedly inferior.
China had to source knowhow from Ukraine for their airforce because Russia previously refused to reveal their secrets (that they probably have forgotten).

          >t China still lacks a lot of technology the USSR had ready access too.
And so does Russia. Everything that doesn't make quick and easy money has been sold for scrap. The turbines that compress the natural gas are made by Siemens, their oil well are operated by Exxon, Shell and OMV. Lada is a rebranded Dacia, which is a rebranded Renault. Their latest CPU is 2001 level of tech. They don't make anything, just extract raw ore and ship it, The price of motor-oil in Russia has almost doubled, cause they have to import the ingridients. Russia doesnt even make their own lightbulbs.

The turbines for NS1 pipeline to Germany are by Siemens. The turbines for Sila Sibiri pipeline to China are being built domestically.

Nobody knows. Russia is already down to T-62s and the front has moved a whopping 10km over the last 60 days. Russians are indoctrinated down to the core though, and Putin has the power to send untrained civilians with sticks and toy guns if he has to. And he will never accept defeat.

Russia is already stopped and needs to use it's entire weight to get a small city, but to bring them down to a point where an offensive is possible after they were able to dig in now is hard to say. It might take months, but at the end the only thing that can stop Russia is power. Russians will die for Putin and Putin has the economic leaders whipped in line. Russia will only stop if it runs out of people. The good thing is that we can easily outproduce them and make that scenario a reality.

Russia don't need top tier waffe for Ukraine.

just spam amounts of decent guided rocket and gun artillery.

That's implying Putin has anything to offer to China in return to bailing them. They could just as easily side against them for an opportunity to get brownie points with the west and seize their assets.

So the Chinese would need to make dedicated GPS guidance chips, and couldn't just repurpose smart phone chips.

The T-62s were given to South Ossetia militia men and the Mosin nag ants have scopes and are given to DPR/LPR militia who were conscripted with no previous training

It’s hardly an indicator of actual Russian equipment, we regularly see videos of Russian troops with t 80s and T 72s or new tanks being brought to the front

The T62s were for the D/LPR militias, not for the RAF.

If Russia had T-72s they would give them out to their vassal states as well.
Getting a whole new tank requiring different tools, spares and ammunition is a huge strain on the supply chain and makes 0 sense if you have old tanks available.
Even sending T72-As is infinitely better than sending out T-62s with worse performance and an additional strain on logistics. And tank crews have trained exclusively on T-72s, so giving them T-62s is just a terrible idea from that perspective as well.

Either Russia is moronic or they have no other tanks to send. It's one or the other.

You can't seriously believe that an untrained person with a nugget would be more effective in combat than with an AK. The only plausible reasons why they give them nuggets is because they don't give a shit about the lives of those militamen and because they can't afford to give away so many AKs.

              Anonymous

or because untrained militiamen tasked with guarding rear areas and checkpoints don't need more and could do real damage with fully automatic weapons if they start overzealously "saboteur hunting"

howitzer/artillery wise they will never run out, its trivial for russia to produce an infinite amount of shells

      >howitzer/artillery wise they will never run out, its trivial for russia to produce an infinite amount of shells
Eventually the factory equipment will wither out, and their stockpiles will too. They could produce big stockpiles over time, but feeding this front won't let them before it's consumed. Unless Russia can produce much more artillery shells than we give them credit for.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese somehow fooled/ deceived or manipulated Putin into making this choice to invade Ukraine.

It's just working too well at transforming Russia into an utterly cucked soft debtor state with free natural resources for China to exploit.

No way. It revitalized NATO, remilitarized Europe, made the west ready for war and showed us that depending on hostile states with crazy dictators for certain products is a bad idea. It also introduced westerners to the concept of dictators acting irrational and a war being possible despite being illogical or even outright moronic.

I'd be surprised if China wasn't incredibly angry at Russia right now. They ruined decades of planning and deception
