the VP9 has been approved for the California handgun roster
and the HK2000 will finally be discontinued
that means they have some free equipment that can go towards making more guns or new ones
As people at HK are out the new and moronic DEI German seethers no shoot managers with HR degrees will makes sure only Glock clones for competition with Glock are made.
From what I've heard, HK HQ is very fuddy and out of touch. HK USA are basically ignored and have no product input. If it were up to them we'd probably get a lot more products. Seems zee germans don't understand the US market.
Most USP variants Inc. ALL USP compacts were pulled from the Cali register, the P2000 isn't going anywhere its the only hammer fired HK aside from the USP Expert able to be sold new manufacture to California's. There are also countries in EU where the USP is banned by name so the P2000 is the closest they'll get to a USP compact
theres a California gun owners subreddit
several different gun shop accounts post there and leak future roster shit months ahead of time because they have friends and contacts with most companies
after the VP9 was added to the roster a couple of the accounts said HK USA was going to discontinue the P2000 line, country wide or just state wide is uncertain
in any case, when California approves a handgun to the roster they charge gun companies a few hundred dollars to add it to the approved list for the calendar year.
when 2025 comes around HK will probably pay the small ransom for the P2000, quietly discontinue them, then update the retailer index with a lower MAP price so gun shops start selling off their inventory
Californians really must be some arrogant people if they think that California civilian market sales have been the only thing keeping the P2000 alive.
>the most outdated of the three anyways
what exactly is outdated? do they shoot an older cartridge or something?
I just like to pick on the USP because I don't like the ergos, and the P2000/P30 are basically direct upgrades with more feature options unless you're particularly attached to the USP.
>Californians really must be some arrogant people
they unironically use the term "flyover state" and they believe the people in the flyover states are the hillbillies from Deliverance but with MAGA hats
roller delay is for PDW-intermediate cartridges
the fact that we only used it for 9mm (doesn't even need it) and 308 (delayed blowback 308 LOL) bewilders me
Back in 2012-2016 peak cancer years it was a cool brand a poor person could buy for cheap as frick depending on the item. Used USPs were 400 or less and it allowed you to make memes and have a gun featured in a lot of vidya. Like everything online guns or society in general literally all of it is downstream from PrepHole pedophile anime groupchats on here so HK is for rich people flexing on poors went mainstream and HK girls boss customer service and redditors went buck wild. Really just an overpriced pistol maker from Germany who doesn’t make civilian rifles. Sure you can get a fricked yo rifle that needs thousands of dollars in parts to look like a normal military contract rifle but you are rich and flex on poors
ohhhh that makes more sense. if I could get a $400 usp I'd tax stamp it and buy a proper suppressor.
>Doesn't know about HK33 >Doesn't know about CETME L
And the roller action is what makes the MP5 a better shooting SMG than any of its blow back competitors.

HK33/Cetme L ARE intermediate caliber sillyhead
mp5 is more gucci than an mp40 sure. more combat effective? x

look at this schizo reading comprehension
the post you're replying to said mp5 shoots better because of roller delayed and you reply with a 19th century pipe gun special being more combat effective, which by the way if you dive into; the mp40 was liked because of it's low cyclic rate which makes it controllable
what is it that roller delayed does again?
are you even aware that the designer also worked with mauser? do you know where hk came from?
don't ever post again moron

Yes I know and you need to stop with these posts since your brain cells are on deterioration.

I'm sorry... what? It was very much like this in the late 90s/early 2000s.
You must be either very young or very ignorant to attribute this to, of all places, PrepHole.

I'm not interested in their long guns, but I can understand why they haven't done anything new with handguns since the VP9. They already sell what's arguably the best hammer-fired duty pistol ever made in a respectable variety of sizes, shapes, and control options. The people who still want a hammer-fired pistol can get a USP, P2000, or P30, and will probably end up buying the most outdated of the three anyways. As for the VP9, its just an H&K brand Glock and can't really go anywhere from what it is. I know the obvious pistol missing from their lineup is the SFP9CC, but it doesn't really bother me if it never gets released. Not every company has to compete in every market segment and H&K has never been a company to chase trends in the civilian market.
The new German Minister of Defense no longer wants specially developed high-end weapons systems that will take another 20 years to develop, but rather inexpensive, quickly available systems that are already on the market. So I'm not sure whether H&K will develop anything new at all.
who cares.
russia won. israelites lost.
STFU GTFO
russia is the israelites
frick off astroturfing Black
>russia is the israelites
homie, you for real?
Russia lost, israelites lost Ukraine won.
Enjoy your ban, homosexual.
Did you know which countries are Israel's strongest supporters?

The only reason they still made it was the cali registry.

That's the way I like HK. I want a handgun that would give a Prussian officer an erection, not a generic striker fired clone of a clone of a Glock.
Too bad they stopped making cool guns once they saw how successful the USP was.

Wow, Pic rail. Big whoop. You can still attach the same kind of stuff on the USP.
>How much money will it take for this shitass company to create a new gun?
yes
there's no money in it
just liability
You mean their countless lawsuits against their competitors?
I can't wait for the Mp6 to come out
Well, they got that double-stack subcompact coming out...eventually.
What do they even make that's cool? Some suppressed 45?
416
what makes it better than any other piston AR
it looks pretty. something about the way it looks feels iconic. unless you mean performance in which case lmao. guns are all about PrepHole.
it looks the same as any other AR, literally the most boring gun available at this point
Because you see it in media being used by cool guys like Delta Force and Seal Team Six.
Literally any G3 derivative.
okay the hk33 and mp5/10 are cool
bait use to be believable

as an hkgay, i hate this c**t with a passion, she brought in all the turbolarpers i don't want to be seen around
>Anon still seething about the HK97
it's okay bro, we all got played. HK hates civilians.
i'd pay that price point for their hk97 in a heartbeat and they KNOW IT, frickers.
integral suppressed UMP in 10mm.
HK goes after government contracts.
Does it accept contracts besides the anglosphere?
sure. whatever seems lucrative and isn't prevented by the moronic German government.
What about the global south?
The UMP was built because of the demand from USA.
>integral suppress
heat concerns
>UMP [unimpressive, maximum polymer]
heat vulnerability
its 2024 the heck do you mean by all of this nonsense
Polymer is great in its place, but direct contact with a suppressor, (which an integrally suppressed ump entails) is not that place.
These is a kraut corporation of course its possible to bend what nature says is legal.
Imagine a ump with an integral supressor and a quad stack magazine, p90 esque, bolted on the bottom like the pp19 bizon. Sexo.

MP5 is 60 year old design now and still looks futuristic to me
They should ditch the ugly ass USC and release civilian version of UMP 45.
