I bought a mosin nugget around 2012/13 because of the /k/ meme. I ended up having to get rid of it, I kinda miss it though. My buddy bought an sks around the same time because of the meme too.
I went through my gun safe last week and I pulled out my Moist Nugget.
Shouldered it and thought to myself this feels right. I haven't shot it in like 5 years so I'm going to the range tomorrow gonna bust out my spam can and have fun with it.

I had a another buddy who had a mosin nugget with a hexagonal receiver (which iirc are relatively rare and have some historic value) and he bubba’d it up with a skeletonized stock and an A2 pistol grip and so on. This was like 13-15 years ago so maybe those particular nuggets weren’t as rare as they are now.

I had bought an extra mosin, cleaned all the cosmoline off it. Stripped it down sanded the wood stock, re did the finish oiled up. Put it back together, gave it to my brother for is 18th birthday. A couple months ago by go to the range again. He has it in a shitty Monte Carlo stock.
