its a great tool of war, you cant do a frick vs MLRS besides have your own MLRS for counter battery or air superiority and drones that can consistently target the enemy MLRS before launch
>if your main goal is to kill civilians and flatten cities then very effective
Might want not want to deploy your troops in cities and civilian buildings then...
I'm at home.
Back when my country was last in war we evacuated civilians rather than use them as meat shields like Ukrainian.
The war was against Russians and there were Ukrainians with them.
>surprise attack
This thing started in 2014 when Ukraine sent forces to quell the Eastern Ukrainian separatists.
The current phase in the conflict has been going on for months now.
Just how long are Ukrainian government going to be startled and not evacuating people?
You ask me I say they don't want to because a) most of them are ethnic Russians anyway and b) it looks good when Russian rockets hit civilians.

Just try to evacuate your old dad before saying something. You will be surprised, but a significant number of people would rather die in their homes than spend the rest of their lives in coliving.

>Just how long are Ukrainian government going to be startled and not evacuating people?
the are currently evacuating people from risk areas now that the front has stabilized and they told the people of Kherson to evacuate since they are advancing that way
the thing is, the russians looooove to claim ukis are using civilians as human shields because they didnt evacuate cities like Mariupol, but in order to have done so, Ukraine wouldve needed to know the russians were going to invade on february 24th, and they wouldve needed to assume the russians were lying bastards and every time they said they werent going to invade was just an attempt at misdirection
see how this stupid fricking accusation doesnt work?
>The war was against Russians and there were Ukrainians with them
wild guess ... Suomi?
also >we
you be a playah but only because you be playing yourself
you didn't do shit and your dad was a sperm at best by that time
stop trying to steal actual valor
inaccurate, impractical, and most importantly if you ask the UAE: too mobile and manpower intensive
main downside is there are to my understanding no guided ammunition packages which as shown in the stark effectiveness of rocket artillery in ukraine can make a world of difference for a relatively cheap cost
It's a solid total war weapon, if your target is a city it'll hit a city just fine, the problem is it's not great at hitting things smaller than cities.
CEP is 900m to 90m depending who you ask the former coming for the US and the latter coming from Russia.
Lets say the truth is 450m that would put 50% of rounds within 450m of the aimpoint, so it's got to be a pretty big hill.

Shoot & scoot is still a good thing to do.
It's not very accurate, but it was never intended to be.
It's reasonably cheap for the value it provides.
quantity over quality
Old rocket arty, inaccurate, but frick will they ruin your day if they get it right
Underrated.

Did you win the war
Like stalingrad?
>initiate a surprise attack
>get mad there are still civvies in the cities
you arent very smart are you vatnik?

Vatnik false flag post.
I wonder what are the chances that one is still standing there and not yet salvaged and sent to Ukraine.
Depending on how many rockets you launched at once
Great for its time (the 1950s) and still good through the 1980s.
civie killer

could it be confined to a hillside? or is that asking too much?
