power is voltage x current
multimeter doesnt measure power
taking your wooly jumper off creates an enormous voltage but very little power.
look into things like joule thief.
i thin ki explained what i thought you meant and answered anyway.
i wasnt trying to be mean.
you said the multimeter measured power when you meant voltage, you said get power out, how are we to interpret that?
its not simply a case of wrong words, a battery will show a higher open circuit voltage than closed circuit due to internal resistance, the voltage you measured doesn't really mean anything.
the point is if you meant voltage both times then there isnt necessarily anything there to take because voltage on its own isn't useful. power is useful, voltage needs current. and open voltage measured with multimeter has (basically) no current behind it.
i wasnt being pedantic about words im trying to explain the reasoning may be flawed, but its hard to tell because of the wording.

>a battery will show a higher open circuit voltage than closed circuit
Also this and it gets worse when the battery is old
Voltage means jack shit. You can measure a few volts between your rain gutters and the ground but you will not power anything.
t. electrical engineering dropout.
To get the maximum use out of the thing, duh.
I just use somewhat drained AA and AAA batteries in wall clocks, since that is the only thing they will generally be able to power for a while. I've also tried to recharge alkaline batteries, but that's generally not a really good idea, might get one recharge out of better quality ones before they start leaking. But yeah, frick alkaline batteries and especially frick Duracell, shits worse than the cheapest chinkshit.
t. cheapskate
draining to 100% is dumb it fricks the cell
youd be able to get about 5-10 charges if youd watch the heat/cycle times you dumb fricker. your chinkshit charger makes a mess but you sound too dumb to realize that. adapting a lifepo would be way better if you dont want to frick with alkalines. Id suggest a joulethief and a cap too but youre one of the top ten dumbest posts this week.
>draining to 100% is dumb it fricks the cell
modern cell phones can improve if you drain to zero because it resets the power meter detector circuityr like on my samsnug which was 20 percent per day until drain to 10 percent per day big improvement you would agree if you think clearly anon
Take your meds no battery can handle total discharge and live to tell about it no matter how much samsung lies. A modern phone still needs minimum power to recognize the user pushed the power button. 0% battery does not mean 0VpC you dumb fricker.
Throw it in the ocean
>Live studio audience laughs
>Throw it in the ocean
The electric ells will enjoy it.

Oh sorry I meant voltage not power but you knew what I meant...
>I don't know what I'm talking about but you should. Mom, I need tendies, the internet's being mean again.

Well anyways... I bought the battery er case for it. But it'll be arriving over a week from now bummer.
What's the load?

>23A current rating
not anymore
What the purpose of draining it 100%?

NO. IT. DOES. NOT. you plug in the charger, and then (maybe after a while) the power button works again.
wrong little boy
>no it doesn't need power
>just plug in the charger
you sound like youve drained your braincells to zero you dumb fricker
lol imagine being angry at a battery company because their batteries leaked after you tried to recharge them when it specifically says not to
