Learn to code
Create an LLC naming yourself as a creative/marketing agency
Pretend it's a company of ambiguous size but not just you.
get clients
write simple code for clients
Log 5x as many hours as it actually took.
Be very communicative, send a lot of emails and ask everyone for input on designs. Corporate and government drones love that shit (I think we could use a darker blue here etc)
Make the changes they want, because you don't really care if it looks good.
Get paid. Everyone's happy because their dumb design idea got incorporated.
Add that company's logo to your portfolio page.
Rinse and repeat.
You can work 2 hours a day on this and make bank from companies you'd never expect. One drone at Bank of America gets some budget and pays you a couple hundred for a landing page? Boom now you have a big corporate client even though you only interacted with three people in one department at one satellite office.
A few years of this and you can really grow it out.

Not OP but how do I do that? What language? Where do I learn? Any advice would be appreciated. I’ve been looking into learning a new skill and I’m torn between this a video editing. Probably gonna do a bit of both till one of them draws me in more, but coding would def be more lucrative.

Codecademy is good for getting your foot in the door, then after your free 7 day trial (easily enough time to finish the basic course for a language) try something like edabit to get comfy with syntax and slowly move up in difficulty. use guerrilla mail to make as many accounts as you need, they only let you do so many for free. then after you can comfortably do medium, start learning the hard problems or switch to leetcodes easy problems (which are about as hard as edabits hard/very hard problems).

Also you shouldn't waste time learning the ins and outs of C++ if your goal is to program and arduino or else you'd be a dumbass like chobitsu. Use the examples that come with the arduino ide and then mod them with ChatGPT for pete's sake.
how's miku coming along?
well she's going to remain somewhat ugly for now but i did fix her eye area a little bit. Silicone is difficult to work with because you can just cast it an cut and that's it. Up next comes talking to miku which means her moving her mouth whenever the ai talks and giving her a voice that's moe as well and converting whats said on the mic to text and back...
Anyways the head doesn't have a mic so it'll happen on the pc for but it'll make her mouth move via wifi or the cable...
I did make a video about a simulation for that with wowki but I abandoned that cause the motor in the simulation kept turning 90 degrees no matter what i think. So the wowki add on for vscode is not good.
so the head (the seat for miku's soul) is the main priority rn? i saw a snippet of her voice in the other thread, it could do with some work but its something that can be sidelined for now. just think anon, if you spend the next few months getting the nitty gritty to work you can use some turbo corpo AI to make her into a real speaking thinking waifu
I redid the mouth and need to work on the eyes, thing to keep the eyes in place, eye lids. This thing is going to take time. Still kind of looks like a blob fish. :/
But keep in mind im working at a pretty fast pace for one person. This takes time...
Her talking is not the biggest obstacle by any means so i don't know why it should be sidelined and i kind of already did it in another video only was with an api which went down so i just need to redo it but on the pc instead of online, etc...

Yes, and with vastly better benefits, an early retirement and better injury coverage than any civilian gig. Join the USAF in Civil Engineering, knock out 20 in comfort compared to the civilian world then retire anywhere from 20 to 30 depending on rank and move over to the civilian side of the house doing what you already know how to do for GS or contractor money.
Unions are good but second best to government work and never ever forget the goal of work is RETIREMENT preferably without destroying your body.

You don't send a letter to a union to become an apprentice. You first need to become overhire. Call whatever trade union you are interested in and ask an assistant business agent how to start working under their protection. Asking to become an apprentice without putting in any work is a dick move. It takes people years of hard work to be invited into an apprenticeship program. They think you are an butthole for asking to be an apprentice without any hard work. I am a journeyman stagehand. It took me 4 years to be invited to join the apprenticeship program. 3 years as an apprentice.
If given a 2nd chance I would have done plumbing.
Just walk into a few local plumbers and ask for a job, learn quickly how to do your own jobs on the side

Can you do a trade school apprentiship? I know enough guys who employed themselves straight out of trade school, tough but they were much better off after only a year after graduating
In the usa apprenticeships are far less common than in australia, they are only really done when people join the trade unions which are fairly hard to get into and not anything like the cmfeu.
