    would it be rude to commandeer this thread to ask, how do I PrepHole my own vanadium redox flow battery for off grid home energy storage?
    they're basically very large batteries that pump a liquid across a membrane to both charge and discharge, and the main upside is they're cheaper than lithium and increasing capacity is as simple as adding more liquid

    Buy cells or packs and connect them with a properly rated controller. Anything you diy beyond that is going to suck or burn your house down.

    Prowse tends to do teardowns and reviews, friendly for beginners to intermediate/advanced. DP does more DIY build stuff.

    T&T is just that. Good way to get acquainted with concepts. Not bad but not as practically applied.
