How can I stop these useless frickers from stabbing me in the eye every goddamn time I try to sleep? I've taken to chopping them off as soon as they're long enough but it's like as soon as they break skin they beeline my fricking cornea

This. Mine grow straight and angled down, and occasionally the tops and bottoms catch on each other when I blink and it drives me nuts. Just get a cheap curler and give them a bend when they get obnoxious.
What a weird thing to have happen. I don’t think that’s normal op. Maybe talk to a doctor? Is this a symptom of something greater?
OP is a woman (trans)
you know eyelashes grow outwards and not inwards right
Maybe try not chopping them off? Eyelashes grow super fricking slow so now you have a set of super sharp hair ends that don't have the length to curl up naturally

I have thick hair and up until I got into my 40's my eyelashes would either fall out and into my eyes, or every once in a while one curve towards the center instead of away from.
The only thing that helped was literally pulling on them every day after I showered in an attempt to pull out the ones with weak roots before they got me. That actually worked well.
Once I got in my 50's I no longer need to do that every day, but I still after one gets me and I usually pull out at least another one.
Having thick hair can be a pain in the ass.
i've always been an eye lash puller after showers too, am polish/irish so i'm fairly hairy as well if that makes a difference
sometimes i worry i'll pull one and then have to deal with an ingrown hair or something on my eyelids but it's never happened though every once in a while i feel some tenderness in my eyelids, maybe pulled too hard or a small infection but nothing has ever come of it in the years i've been doing this
Besides the curler, if you need extra help to keep the curve in place you can get clear mascara that's basically thick hair gel in a mascara tube with a brush. It not only sets the hairs, but the brushing action helps straighten them so they don't get tangled up with each orher.
imagine him looking like a beat up prostitute when it rains
What part of “clear” do you not understand you illiterate wienergargler?
knowing the difference makes you the wienergargler friend
