How are gun laws in your state and is there any effort going on to improve them?

How are gun laws in your state and is there any effort going on to improve them? Right now Ohio is looking pretty based and gets moreso every election cycle.

    >Ohio
One of the best states in the union. Only thing we really lack is public land.

Kansas is pretty neat, had constitutional carry before Texas so I'll forever run that in their faces.

Shit, I just post Beto and go "he's yours" when they get uppity, but I've been taking it easy on them ever since they told the feds to pound sand.

Every ODNR range is the same. Only difference from Delaware range to the Grand River range near me is parking space.

It's okay here in Texas. We've been really late to the game though and there's no land to go shoot on.

This. I honestly rank them with Californians and New Yorkers about how annoying they are about reminding you of where they come from.

Daddy gov will scrap them when he's done.

USS Texas will live on for a long, long time, like it has already done for over 100 years.

Texas actively wienerblocking the feds is something that will have (positive for us) consequences for decades to come. I get it, but admit they got a W.

Montana is without peer in it's gun rights and opportunities to exercise them.

Nothing else to even say about Montana. I buy guns from the store without a background check. The entire western side of the state is the most gorgeous shooting range in existence. Every year I hunt everything from Grouse to Hare to Deer and Elk. It's incredible.

I just bought my first house in NE Iowa, coming from Western Wisconsin. Haven't moved in yet. Looking kind of bleak for someone who doesn't shoot clays, but the gun laws are marginally better than WI's.
    >Constitutional carry
    >no distinction on whether rifles or pistols can be concealed
    >something about a waiver for background checks when buying that I don't yet understand
Going to need to make friends with a farmer or something, I guess.

MAchad here: need to get licensed and some firearm related cucking but nothing terrible. On the plus side: gun crime nonexistent, unless you get involved in gang nog on nog violence. Feels goodman

The thing is, literally everywhere surrounding this shithole (excluding New Jersey) is decent in regards to owning guns, but I live in this shithole so simply "OWNING" is a far off dream if you're poor and studying/working.

We do alright. Nothing I've heard that suggests things are going to get better any time soon, but then again I don't know how they could, short of the state government declaring all federal firearms laws unconstitutional and unenforceable within the state.

Missouri chud here. Cream of the crop in these parts, but us being a "non nfa" state is overexaggerated.

I'm a resident of the least constitutional state in the union: California. We're so close to being better but our judicial system plays all of the games and legislature acts like it's not part of the rest of the country. I wish there were a punishment for so blatantly and intentionally violating the law of the land.

We are winning consistently in court. The only thing they can do is slow walk the judicial process while chomping out with more laws that aren't going to hold up to any scrutiny and DDOS Calguns.net in retaliation.

Gun laws in California are famously awful, but they are running out of straws to grasp to. At some point they will have to either concede, or openly try and ignore federal authority.

It's that one. Won't even be the first time and we're not even the only state. I kind of wonder what it's going to take for the feds to come down on these laws and policies slowly balkanizing the country.

    >Connecticut
The best of the worst states, but getting worse. We had open carry and legal AR Others until last summer, both got b& in one fell swoop because blue state and muh sandy vegana.

What's still good about it compared to other ban states:
    >All NFA items allowed
    >Relatively easy to get carry permit
    >No permit required to possess (I know, it's a low bar)
    >Castle doctrine

    What sucks:
    >Hysterical liberal wine aunts everywhere
    >No more open carry so said hysterical people can cause problems if your shirt rides up and they see your ccw
    >Assault weapons ban, 10rd mag limit since you know what
    >Duty to retreat outside the home
    >State legislizards try stricter gun control every opportunity they get
    >The only state that allows suppressors but bans them for hunting
    >Cannot hunt deer with a rifle except on private land, people actually hunt deer with shotguns here
    >Carry ban in state parks unless hunting small game with rimfire pistol

    What gives me hope:
    >Carry ban in state parks likely to get overturned soon after several unsuccessful attempts

I can't wait to get out of here lol

More things that suck that I forgot
      >no state land to shoot on except crappy state-run shooting ranges, all fudd rules apply and you still have to pay and there's limited space
      >gun registry containing all purchases made in the state

WA - We used to be the most based blue state that loved woods, weed, and weapons but now the Canadian + California infection has given us a disgusting puss riddled wound in which I fear won't heal without massive external influence ala Supreme Court.

Sad times. Oddly enough our shitty governor brought a frick ton of bears into our woods so that's just a wonderful pairing.

CO - we're right behind you WA. Assault-rapist LGBTQ-minority-seeking-missile-weapon ban passed the state house. We annoyingly have a decent amount of ranges / gun culture that's utterly powerless politically but I guess what else is new

Another Ohioanon here, Hamilton country checking in. Things have never looked so fricking good for us in my lifetime. Calistanians are too afraid to come here because of the memes. Still sucks about the lack of federal land forcing you to use ranges, but really you should know a friend or someone that has family owned farmland or something anyways.

    Tennessee chad here
    >Constitutional Open/Concealed carry
    >even for 18 year olds
    >All NFA permitted
    >No waiting periods
    >No mag restrictions
    >Prevalent gun culture
    >Cops are cool
    >All my local ranges basically only have one rule: “Dont shoot each other”

Cant really think of anything bad, except for lack of public land and Caligays moving into Nashville.
