Shut the frick up Ivan/Rajesh. France and America are on the same team, and have been since long before we achieved global dominion. France and America will continue to work together to enforce, preserve, and expand Western dominance and you will continue to flail, seethe, and eat shit. This is both the natural order and rightful way of things, and maybe if you don't frick them up toonhad your descendants can be reformed and join us on our great project.

            >they could after 3-4 years of military build up / spending.

This is a joke, you may spend as much money as you want in the bundeswehr, it wouldn't change a damn thing, you first need to erase the bureaucr

You would first need to smash the bureaucracy AND the whole way german think about their army, and what they had done during WW2.

During CENTAC training in France, in which we're holding a war scenario for only 5 days German soldier littarly took their "mandatory" break, night shift? "Nope." Time to go because we're under artillery? "We can't, our pilot didn't resteenough".

If French soldier are litteral prostitute because we don't have right to Union, German Army went the opposite way, and litteraly can't train to a war because of their union.

Good luck with erasing all of this, until they put a new dictator in charge, which something tell me wouldn't be european friendly, it's been almost two years now, that they put 100 billions euros in their army and nothing has change.

            >The only reason why there has been tension between France & US is because they wanted us to drop the bomb in Vietnam & we refused & they still hold a grudge.

The what? Indochina was litteraly 75 years ago, we don't care about that since decades.

            >France also doesn't appreciate the fact they aren't part of the Five Eyes

            The frick #2

We would be glad to be part of it, but as US are so inconsistent Ally ( European leader being spied or AUKUS for exemple ), but we clearly know there would be something fishy, or desperate, if we were asked to join Five Eyes.

This is the relation between France ( and most European country to be honest ), they have a frickton more interest with USA than China or Russia, but they do know that they're not true ally, to the point of fighting each other in an industral, political, and spy war, France spying US industry as an exemple.

The only time we do agree between each other, is when someone is trying to fricked up everyone.

    >Can they lead Europe in revolt against American hegemony?
Lame bait. If Germans woke up one day & decided they wanted to dominate Europe, they could after 3-4 years of military build up / spending. People forge that the EU was essentially created to challenge US hegemony & we all know how that turned out.

    >How advanced is the French military compared to the US, Russia and China?
But this is actually worth discussing. France is alien-level more advanced when it comes to military tech versus Russia & China. Russia & China are moronic compared to France. In comparison to US, France has some very advanced tech, but it all comes down to tech for gathering intel where the rift starts to form. The only reason why there has been tension between France & US is because they wanted us to drop the bomb in Vietnam & we refused & they still hold a grudge. France also doesn't appreciate the fact they aren't part of the Five Eyes. We share intel with France that is necessary, but they don't help themselves in picking & choosing what they think is correct or not correct based upon their own intel. The invasion of Ukraine is a perfect example. US & UK warned Ukraine multiple times that Russia was going to invade. Macron said we were just trying to scare people, especially because of the fact that Macron considered himself the champion that brought relative stability/peace between Ukraine & Russia since the invasion of Crimea. He considered himself to be the closest in-the-know European leader when it came to Putin. The fact that the US was correct about the invasion, mainly due to the Five Eye's intel gathering capabilities, and Macron was incorrect, sums up the US/France relationship in a nutshell. Deep down, France wants to be in the Five Eyes club or be given the military surveillance tech that the US will not share except with the Five Eyes, but will never admit it, so they try to virtue signal to European nations about the US because it's all they can do.

Fricked up my post, was supposed to answer you too.

      >We share intel with France that is necessary, but they don't help themselves in picking & choosing what they think is correct or not correct based upon their own intel. The invasion of Ukraine is a perfect example.

This was not a problem of intel being shared, but how those intel were used.

The DRM and DGSE has their own intel, and did receive the one from UK and US.

Things is, when the DRM and DGSE saw these, they didn't believe Russia wouyld invade Ukraine, because they clearly understood that Russia didn't have what it need to invade Ukraine, which first month of the war clearly show...

      > Deep down, France wants to be in the Five Eyes club or be given the military surveillance tech that the US will not share except with the Five Eyes, but will never admit it, so they try to virtue signal to European nations about the US because it's all they can do.

France is the expeditionary force in the world, it has a niche role but they are the best at it
        >Can they lead Europe in revolt against American hegemony?
No, with the average Western European having the highest living standards in the world they have zero interest in changing the status quo
The EU keeps expanding at a massive pace it got in 50 from 6 to 41 considering also candidates countries

    Lol
As much as we like to shit on the Anglos, we have no intention of turning against the US. We like our independence in military matters, but when shit hit the fans, we'll fight the russians
just ike everyone else. Same as during the Cold War

    >Can they lead Europe in revolt against American hegemony?
What the French don't understand is that nobody wants them to be the European hegemon. Sure, having the Mutts as overlords isn't ideal either, but they don't ask for too much besides military bases and for NATO members to throw 20 or so Euros toward their own military spending every once and a while. The French meanwhile, whenever they've been the ascendant power in Europe, have always been obnoxious dick-waving buttholes. Not as much as the Turks, Spanish, Germans, or Russians, but still "form an alliance to get them to frick off"-worthy. A master whose an ocean away and is more concerned with what's happening in Asia is preferable to one who lives next door and still has delusionsal dreams of geopolitical grandeur and nostalgia for their imperial past.
