To be fair the Nazis were moronicly autistic about making everything dive bomb (stuka) capable, including things like cucking the 4E He 177 into a 2 double-engined design so your strat bomber can shittily dive bomb while the 2*2 engine Black personrig was moronicly unreliable, flammable and lacked redundancy.
Dunno if the Zerstörer could dive bomb, seeing it was designed as fighter.
Except the Americans and Brits did that and exactly won the war. In fact, had the Brits repeated Dresden once or twice more, the Germans would have surrendered. This comes from German officials, btw. But the Bongs were morally appalled and didn't do follow up strikes (even though Dresden was a result of corrupt local burghers, not some weird strange bombing tactic).
If your factory is fricked and takes a few days to be unfricked, that is a few days of production not done.
