I was wondering about this, why isn't the drone operator telling them the status of the trench in front?
Although I will say the bunker was well concealed from the top, I couldn't tell until they zoomed in that that was were the fire was coming from. It's hard to tell elevation differences from the drone footage. everything looks like its perfectly flat.
Probably hard to listen to a radio with shots going off everywhere and the ability to describe visual things with words is limited. If you want an example watch a YouTube vid of someone looking at a picture describing it to someone tasked with copying that picture.

My question is, would it be possible to share that feed to the commander's ATAK etc? Maybe using starlink to boost the signal if the native connection is too slow

Ukrainians just walk upto the bunker, get into the trench system but just stop, get a guy killed, and try and throw some grenades in front of the bunker. Theres not even a section strength in the assault team.
Why did they leave the area entirely? Now they have to advance on the trench system again and have given the Russians time to prepare again.
Russians appear to have literally no one on guard, helmet guy is so fricking lucky to be alive. Most of their shots were just random ones to make some noise and freeze up the advance.

People already learned how to destroy bunkers in ww1, just throw 1 demolition charge and its done. Every video i see is ukrainians throwing dozens of grenades instead and it not doing much. Just use a larger charge or rpg and save the headache. Why arent the western soldiers teaching this to ukrainians?
