Think it is just to imply that Ukrainians are untrustworthy and to imply they lie about everything, like the Russians do. Part of the Russian propaganda is "see, Ukraine is just as bad as Russia actually!"

        Yes

yes, first in service in early 2000s, along with GMRLS and M270A1 upgrade

Isn't HIMARS basically just a wheeled lightweight version of M270?
M270s are literally 40 years old at this point.

          Anonymous

          >Isn't HIMARS basically just a wheeled lightweight version of M270?
That's exactly what it is and it was developed in the late 90s and it's first confirmed use was in 2010.

        Anonymous

the vehicles are probably relatively new but HIMARS is just a smaller M270 which is 40 year old tech

          Based Charlie Magne Poster

          rockets are newer,
but it makes you wonder what actually NATO has in store for peer adversary.

            Anonymous

rockets are actually older if you consider that original(and arguably better DPICM armed) rockets first arrived in 2004, while himars was in service by 2010

              >in before Zhang
It's the closest thing we got. They honestly have the numbers to be a credible threat in the case of a US offensive in conjunction with their decent tech.

Now, they try to invade US territory and they'll get dunked on.

stuff like the RQ-170 and AGM-158 would give Russians a heart attack if they think guided rockets are impressive

              Anonymous

if russians cannot defend against GMRLS then more advanced weapons would not bring more effect compared to it, as they are not really more accurate or powerful, just more flexible and capable in terms of deployment and use

When I was in the Air Force we had a guy get kicked out for being overweight and not making weight in the six month program.
You would not think he was overweight nowadays. He was probably 15 pounds over for his height. Hard worker, put in massive amounts of extra time on the job when he could have done 8 hours and walked every day.
How the fricking frick is that tub of lard in pic related in uniform?

      Impressive.

With this most recent achievement, fate has, in a single stroke, marked the decline of America and spelled a new era of wondrous prosperity and peaceful global dominance for the Russian bear, which promises to firmly stand in sharp contrast to the historically bloody ascent of American powers and the cruel subjugation it brought to the more starved nations of the world. The blessings of chain food queues, sugar vouchers, shareware outside toilets, Cлaвa class cruisers submersible technology, indestructible Su-27, quantum direct-current electric Mach 1000 X-22 mallbuster missiles, neutrino submarine undersea-rock evasion Kursk technology, gamma titanium mono crystal turbine powered T-62 main rattle tanks, fireproof amphibious BMD infantry burying vehicles, and 5G remote Sputnik vaccine injections will be the instruments with which Russia affirms its noble stewardship of 21st century world politics and offers the western world a different option: a communist alternative to the depredations of American leadership and the opportunity for a more equitable and significant Checheno-Tuvan-led world order.
