Hey I will be homeless in the wilderness soon, last time I had a shit daypack, I need the daypack size as I will
have to carry around everything I own at times. It should be comfortable wear when it's full of shit. Anyone with experience
and recommendations? I've been looking at the north face commuter pack but it seems just too much of a homosexual hipster type thing
to be practically useful.

You are homeless, surely, by your own definition of homeless. Living in the wilderness is just as much of a "home"
as a house. You are incapable of owning a house. If you are not convinced you need not let your thoughts
wander far before you realize that making a modification to "your" house requires you to ask your government
for permission. Municipal property taxes and other miscellaneous fees will force you to work, thus pay taxes, just
to remain in "your" home. Your home is be subject to an array of local laws and regulations effectively making "your"
home just a place you are allowed to stay. A true home is a place where you can do what you like.
YOU OWN NOTHING AND YOU ARE HOMELESS.

It's 23L from what I see, so you'll fit frick all in it.
Go to secondhand stores, craigslist or any big store like Walmart and look for a hiking pack. 60-70L or more depending on how much stuff you carry around.

Ideally find an old external frame pack. They're robust, fairly easy to repair and you can strap all kinds of shit on it. You can probably find on dirt cheap.

Don't mind all the inbreds here full of onions fighting eachother with their keyboards, I don't know why you're going homeless and neither will I ask, I will just answer your question bro.

Go to any second hand selling website type ordeal and either look up "ALICE pack" or "External frame backpack" / "External frame hiking pack" something along those lines. Look for the ones with thick padded hip belts that you can rest the weight on if your shoulders tire out. However it's important to mention the ALICE pack doesn't really have that and instead has a kidney belt. It's meant to be used more like a weightlifting belt but that's beyond what I know and I recommend you take what I say with a grain of salt. The external frame backpacks I mentioned earlier should look something like the image I've provided.

As for size their are many different size external frame backpacks so just pick one of your liking, the ALICE on the other hand has a medium and a large variant, obviously get the large one.

You can also try your luck with other surplus military rucksacks, like the MOLLE II for example but I have no experience with those.
I have a medium ALICE pack and an external frame rucksack behind me as I type this and both are decent. I personally however don't like the ALICE pack as mine has some fricky wucky flaws with it, but thats just my experience, considering that they have been in use since the vietnam war I think it's safe to say theyre decent right? Anyways best of luck bro, and I hope you find a way to get out of your situation ASAP.

P.S. I'd also recommend some basic survival items like some reputable authors' survival guides of that sort, ferro-rod, MRE's etc. just seems like a smart thing to do and also maybe a lifestraw of some sort so you can drink water from any source.

AGAIN I'm not a fricking homelessness expert, just giving my 2 cents.
