Hey guyyyys.

A co workers little brother told me K is the best place to get advice. What's the best gun to get for a 4'5" 90# (>﹏ <) girl? I'd ask on tumblr but all my friends are the artsy type so they won't take too kindly to this whole. you know...

I live in Cali and there's homeless guys who recently started camping out in front of the library and keep trying to pat my head (ಠ_ಠ).

Thanks in advance.

(ꈍᴗꈍ)

All I have are these funny meme cats. Hope it's enough.

Listen here little baby. You're gonna get a lot of hurtful and degrading comments, but that ain't what I'm about. Let me just say, you are perfect the way you are. You hear me sugar? PERFECT. Don't ever change. You deserve anything and everything you want. Stay safe for me, baby girl.

    What the frick
Anyway get a S&W model 37 airweight, they’re small, very light, extremely easy to use, and a common caliber. They’ll also easily fit into what I can only imagine are the smallest and daintiest little hands on God’s green earth.

My grandmother-in law has one and she’s anorexic, frail, 80lbs soaking wet, and she can still put 5 holes in a man size target with it.

I guess this is an interesting option too but 32acp is actually significantly pricier than any of the normal calibers despite being smaller. But I guess if someone isn't practicing much and just wants a <3yd final defense option it maybe doesn't even matter.

You practice with a different cheaper ammo gun, confirm your practice with a magazine or two of your expensive (.32 ACP in this application) and be on your way.

S&W Bodyguard 380, or Glock G42. 380 is a good cheap caliber that is plenty effective at defense ranges while also be quite low recoil. Very concealable. Practice with it using whatever is cheap and then use the Underwood XD rounds for EDC (mix a few boxes in amidst practice so you have a feel for it). Laser might be useful for you too. Don't get an optic.

As far as CA's dumb laws no idea, you'll have to review that yourself, though permits are supposed to be Shall Issue now nationwide in theory.

Y’all have the right idea however you need to factor in that most women have trouble racking the slides on automatic pistols. I don’t know why but it’s hard as frick for like 90% of them.

I know this is a troll but frick it im bored at work. Are you gonna cc it or get it for home defense? What is your budget?
For home defense I would reccomend a carbine, for carry most compact (Glock 19 size) handguns from reputable manufactures (cz, hk, walther, beretta, glock) are fine. I would also consider carrying a .45 vs a 9mm because the recoil is only slightly more and it is more of a push than a flip. Whoever told you this place is good for advice is moronic, this place is for memes and talking shit

honestly have always found it kind of comfy how /k/ could take those kinds of transparent attempted troll questions and then give very serious responses.

also we got tons of them before the war but feels like i haven't seen it in a year and a half. kinda nostalgic really.

Yeah honestly I cant say I’ve seen one since ukraine flooded this board and lowered its quality to near b levels. I just always answer truthfully and try to give advice because maybe some lurker will gain from it

the air weight above is a good recommendation, but I think it'd be hilarious if you pick up a .25 tanfoglio or something because it would look so freaking cute in tiny hands to match it

Guess this is a decent thread to ask it in. Is the p238 good for a tiny carry gun?

      >Is the p238 good for a tiny carry gun?
If I'm giving you an honest response I've seen it praised a fair amount and heard it recommended plenty.

But I hate and distrust what Sig has become in the last 5 years so I don't think I could bear to give them money even if the gun was shown to not have the design flaws some of their other recent ones do. Not when there are other good options. But again that's a totally biased opinion.

Yeah, while I dislike sig too it looks like a neat little pocket gun, and the fact that it’s single action only and hammer fired makes me think it’ll be better than their other stuff.

Pretty sure Cali won't let you carry a gun in a public library, even if you do get a permit.
