Hello friend, so I have this idea but not really sure how to achieve it. Hoping one of you crafty anons can help. Basically what I want to do is embed something in the bottom of my boot that when dragged across concrete at 10-15 mph will leave a trail of sparks. Not really sure what to use and how to secure it to the boot. What would you guys use?
Ferrostick. Or just steel if you're going that fast
Not a chemist but those firestarter ferrocerium rods should work for this. They're cheap and throw some sparks. You could carve a groove and just ram one in there or tie / glue em perpendicular to the ground.
ferrocerium/mischmetal hobnails.
can't you just drill screws into the heel?
In the motorcycle world stunters an other hooligans typically use titanium or steel bars to make sparks when in a wheelie, although there's probably more force involved in that than something on your boot.
it's gonna get really hot, fyi.
I only really plan on doing it as I'm pulling up to park. Not gonna do it long distances.
Oh this might actually go around a boot really well thanks
Depleted uranium like a badass. My reenactor friend says it's the best flintrock flizzen he's ever had.
>flizzen
I laugh with my whole face at your not knowing "frizzen".
