Hello /k/, I'm prior service (Army) and am looking to find the closest AR-15 to the military's M4. I'm leaning heavily towards the Colt AR6720 but I see they also make the LE6920 for law enforcement. What do you guys suggest? As a side note, this will be my first AR ever, never felt the need to purchase one, but now that I'm a civilian I've been itching for some range days.
Get a Windham weaponry they are the bushmaster brain trust and went in their own when freedom group bought Bushmaster. The OG M4 was mainly a bushmaster creation.
They're out
They folded about a month ago, dumbass.

Only held the M4 but it felt solid. Or get a lower w a Colt LE6921 upper (14.5)
Looks nice but looking at the selector switch I'm seeing "Burst." I know nothing about gun laws, but I don't think that'd fly here in WA unfortunately.
it's just a marking on the lower for aesthetics, you wouldn't be able to select burst
Well, At least we know now that you barely ever shot your assigned weapon lmao. Do you see a pin hole for the auto sear? The answer is no because it doesn't have one. It's just dress up.
>WA
Extra lmao. Go read your state laws, dork. You're 6 months too late to be able to buy an AR. Try reading the news once in a while.
Damn for real? I can blame no one but myself. (and liberals)
Wait a minute, being a veteran I believe I'm exempt here no?
Nah nvm I'm retarded, only if you're active and have orders to PCS to WA can you import one
Keep fighting the good fight
> shall not be infringed
Yeah, definitely DO NOT purchase a 2007-2011 manufactured LE6920, chop 1.5" off the barrel, rethread the muzzle, mill nor drill the lower to accept a Geissele SSF along with an A1 auto sear. This would hurt the feelings of anti-defense nuts and gun grabbers, which we DO NOT want
you need to make sure you get a pinned and welded 14.5" barrel and not a 16" if you want it to be a real M4 clone
FN makes a clone correct M4 off the shelf but it's expensive
i had the same goal. i did anderson lower and BCM upper
Served yet doesn't know even the bare basics of is own duty weapon well enough to make a clone..... yikes my guy.
the majority of military personnel know very little and have zero interest in the weapons they are assigned to use.
and I'm supposed to be scared of these smoothbrained welfare queens during a big igloo?
suppposed to be? Certainly not. Thats always been the gag, the ignorance of civilians (and a great deal of the political establishment) to the actual nature of the armed forces.
Just get an FN-15 military collector's edition if you want to clone your M4.
