Spring I need is similar to this, but slightly bigger and longer. I need 9/16" inside diameter and 3" long. Outside diameter doesn't matter. Tried valve lifter springs at auto parts stores, but they have to order them by vehicle make/model, no dimensions available.
Where would I find these in the US, please? (Custom camper project).

Go to a diy wreckers and take your measuring devices and tools.
Why aren't you using urethane springs or air bags instead and why do you imagine sizing springs is somehow the correct way to spec them or even close? Why do you insist on coil springs when leaves also control axle position vs suspended item?
Post a sketch so an adult can show you how to get the results you specify (specify them).
^This is the correct answer for steel springs and other useful bits. Find self-service yard and go walkabout. Cheap too, and whole axle assemblies off vehicles like Caravans (I harvest those now and then) with leaves are easy to remove and ready to use. Unbolt the mounts too. It's common to find them with good or even near new tires since rear tire wear is much less than steer tire wear.
