I figured the shop would have 25rd windowed magpuls but they didn't, so I ordered a few a couple of minutes ago. Got the ammo just to zero it out, dead center at almost 800 yards currently
Have you ever walked in on your butt naked dad jerking off in front a mirror, spitting his goo all over it while repeatedly saying "happy birthday to me! happy birthday to me!"
? Fudd lore. Carbon steel is harder than stainless, you're right, and can be treated (or not) with nitride or chrome. For most civilian shooters, nitride is a better choice for general purpose use. Chrome primarily shines in military barrels, as they typically see high volume full auto use, which is rare in civilian hands. Chrome lining usually comes with a small accuracy penalty that isn’t there with nitride, so whether one is better or worse is usually determined by its intended use. Stainless is totally fine.
Its this scope, but I just zerod it and hit out to 850 yards

"MUH HE DIDN'T SPEND ENOUGH MONEY FOR A THING THAT DOES THE SAME THING AS THIS OTHER THING FOR $700 MORE!" d >dumbass.
Looks awesome dude. I’ve been thinking about buying an AR10. I have an AR15 in 6.5 grendel from PSA. Steel case for 6.5 grendel is 60cpr. Steel case for .308 is about the same, and it’s way more powerful and popular.
I’m kinda annoyed 6.5 grendel ammo is still so expensive.
I bought it when it was cheap, and it went up and never got cheap again.
Yeah, this was a daily deal with $10 off but this 5%/$40 off banner would only appear if I had my mouse in one perfect position on the screen, so for $839 not a bad deal. It's a bit stiff but just after breaking it down, compared to say my SIG, there's NO lube at all. I'm about lube everything
Just a tip if it says "out of stock" its gonna be back in a few hours or the next day
Should I sell the grendel upper and get something else, maybe 350 legend, and buy an AR10? Or just sell the whole gun and then buy an AR10? I already have a mini 14 so I don’t need another .223.
It really depends on your use case, do you never want to shoot Grendel again? What quality is the lower?
Altho something can be said for keeping two-three uppers and an assortment of uppers to just snap on, that's my endgame.
I really like the round. I think it’s a great hunting cartridge. At some point though, I want to shoot a bear, and I don’t think it’s enough for a black bear.
It has an adjustable dial and Im familiar with porting gas holes, I'm going to get a bigger buffer and heavier spring regardless https://heavybuffers.com/ar10carbine.html

Not a big deal other than the weight, I planned on switching it out eventually anyway with a nicer one.

*yawn* Half the people who claim that don't even own a fricking pistol, much less a rifle.
