I'm seeing more and more of these catastrophic explosions. Are these less armored? Are they being hit earlier during their sorty and thus have more ammo on board which equates to a bigger boom? The T-90m, probably the most modern tank they field, seems especially explosive
It's possible that they're carrying extra ammo to cope with the absolute state of their logistics. Or a lack of working vehicles and trained crews.
The Ukies also been using these manually controlled drones a lot recently. They're probably better than most anti-tank weapons at hitting just the right spot. And they tend to produce better footage, which might be biasing our perceptions a bit.
I'd guess they aim there because it's an obvious spot where the armor is thin and there's no reactive tiles or other equipment in the way that could disrupt the HEAT jet.
Said jet firing slightly downwards into the turret at a speed of Mach F.U. will probably send hot high-velocity metal fragments everywhere, including the ammo stores.
holy shit, was that a T90?

Basically, the turret's autoloader is filled with poorly protected ammo, and the Russians may be packing them with even more because their logistics are shit. So if the tank's armor is penetrated and something gets through into the autoloader, there's a pretty good chance it will set off all the ammo and send the turret flying.
Those cheap drones can just barely lift an RPG-7 warhead without its booster and carry it for a few minutes. That seems to be quite enough to pen the tank from an unexpected angle like this.

turns out the russian learnt this from the 1st Battlecruiser Squadron
T-80BVM best I can tell. Rear of the turret is just steel, and not particularly thick either. That location also sometimes has storage racks for ammo, the main ammo storage is below the turret, so basically high chances of it blowing when something hits it there and pointing downwards

Under confinement yes. In the open air it will burn slowly.
>Shouldnt those sticks burn way faster?
They're designed to be ignited along their entire length by primer sparks shooting up the spaces between the rods. If the rod was so volatile that it burned end-to-end rapidly, that sort of ignition would just blow the gun up.
It's not just the drone itself, there's an rpg warhead attached to it, and i think those are capable of melting through very thick steel and fricking up whatever's behind the aforementioned.
Because Russia is losing so many tanks in Ukraine, they have so much extra ammunition for them compared to tanks. So for the remaining tanks, they're packing them extra full of spare ammo.
You'd think at least one of the logi guys would've played enough war thunder to realize full load bad lol. Overloading ammo sounds like pure insanity on tanks known for popping the second the ammo even gets lovingly caressed a little too hard. You were already serious enough on your post about corruption, that's how it works.
Putin and his crew are making a pretty penny off every round fired and dead soldier in this war. Its why people who think Putin is gonna be removed from power will be sorely dissapointed. As long as the dirty money is still coming and going, he'll be there unless they can get another former-KGB or USSR government employee who can keep the bribery going better. In which case, the war will only end because of the Ukrainians or because they found a better way to keep the robbery going.
So theoretically some kind of cope-cage would've prevented this? We know they work to protect against RPGs.
Cope cages only work as a function of the velocity of the RPG rocket/projectile. They crush the warhead if it hits the area between slats which dramatically reduces penetration. If the rocket is only going 50 m/s on a drone then even if it hits between the slats it won't be going fast enough to deform much at all. The spacing between the cope cage surface and tank armor does almost nothing to the HEAT penetrator itself
Cope cages and slat armor work by detonating the HEAT warhead further away from the actual armor. The nose of HEAT rounds is the ideal standoff distance for the copper jet it forms to penetrate. If the slats detonate it early, the jet fails to reach far enough into the armor.
Wrong, putting more standoff does decrease pen but you need quite a bit of standoff to start really taking off the edge of the pen. Slat armor (and some cope cages) is primarily designed to deform the charge and/or destroy/disable the detonator. See FOI R 1750 SE regarding standoff:

>and some cope cages
No. Cope cages are not going to help unless they are specifically designed, manufactured and applied. The variances of the design literally spell the difference between successful 'help' and not. Even the Bongs got this wrong when they wrote about it in their manuals. They got all the data wrong and put in incorrect information. You cannot slap some wire or whatever in a lattice shape and it'll do the job. It has to be designed and measured and exact and even then it'll help at certain angles. A cope cage will not make much difference to what happened in the video. As it stands, cope cages are used because they are effective at stopping grenades. Even if a tank is disabled, it is much harder to drop a AT grenade into the tanks open hatch to actually destroy it beyond easy recovery (though I have seen some awesome trick shots and getting past them). Russia claimed cope cages would stop top attack missiles. That is a lie.

Anon that's why I said "some" as in, not all. And I'm talking about design intent, not results. If you want my opinion as to the best cope cage the award goes to this Ukrainian crew of a T-80BV who have put together a folding mesh type cage to protect against FPV drones and grenades while also being easy to fold back and store. Some minus points for it being a potential tangling hazard if one of the supports gets broken though.
holy shit, was that a T90?
also guys, WHY DID IT EXPLODE LIKE THAT? jesus christ it went off like a micheal bay movie prop what the frick how is that even possible.
it was just a god damn amazon drone.
Considering the fireball, it probably hit the fuel tank, which then exploded ammo.
They have to store it all somewhere and being compact has some advantages.
Maybe there are better configurations to deal with kamikaze drone strikes but it wasn't really designed with those in mind.
to some degree I see the logic of hiding the fuel tanks and ammo there but maybe counter intuitively for the russians the end result is the exact opposite of protecting the crew from blowing up
nah, not from this angle
cope cages are still using the game design, that was originally meant to protect against top-down attack munitions (it wouldn't anyway)
you would need a cope dome, or a cope fence
I think militaries of all sane countries massively put all perks into drones maxxing just by watching this fricking war.
This shit is way too cheap and effective.
US has been dealing with commercial drones in the Middle East since like early to mid-2010s, most people just don’t realize that because US had pretty good anti-drone defenses, really the only exposure they got in international news prior to the Ukraine war was when ISIS would target Syrian, Kurdish, or Iraqi troops who basically had nothing in the EW department, though the Iraqis did do better since they had US support. This has basically just shown all poor nations that yes commercial drones can be effective but, most importantly, really only against other poor nations. The 2023 Gaza war basically proved that if a modern military with effective EW is in the fight your cheap drones will do jackshit.
>wouldn't have a single take operating alone >drone would have been downed seconds after launch >launch site would have been scrubbed of life by US air support
There'd be more than a single tank and ECM and short range AD would be insane knowing there be suicide FPVs about. There'd also very likely be infantry and IFVs present. Air superiority would be held by the US as usual.
Good shot the drone would've been downed well before it could ram the tank and might not even be able to reach it in the first place. Even if it did hit the tank the worst damage suffered would've almost certainly been an ammo cookoff which looks flashy and like the tank is totally fricked... but the Abrams is straight up designed to be able to take that hit, have it's ammo go kaboom, and drive away to fight another day with minor to no crew injuries.
Чepнyхa [Chernukha] - slang word, dark sides of life, everyday life, imbued with doom and hopelessness, accompanied by scenes of cruelty and violence, as well as showing such dark, unsightly sides of life, everyday life[1]. It is spread primarily in cinema and literature as one of the manifestations of hyperrealism[2].
The only equivalent to this possible in Gaza would be videos of the IDF dropping explosives onto the assorted Palestinian guerrilla groups in Gaza and they wouldn't do that.
Does anything identifiable as (sub)human ever come out of a hatch closed turret toss? I doubt they can pack 90 minutes of cremation into the autoloader, but I've never seen a result even during the most fervent gore posting.
There was a photo circa late 2022 (IIRC) showing some guy's dick on the ground near a busted tank.
I also vaguely remember a pic showing a lower jaw (with some metal crowns).
seems to vary a lot. sometimes theyre torn apart, sometimes charred badly, sometimes still in one piece and recognizable like that buryat tankist in Kyiv whom we saw get pulled out of the turret
>Z and V symbols on the same vehicle
Remember when Vatniks could at least vaguely argue whole Z spray paint thing was just IFF localized to units in different theaters? It really has just devolve into cargo cult symbology.
I remember just before they invaded.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/44413/mysterious-symbols-are-appearing-on-russian-military-vehicles-near-ukraine
Eh, you could argue it is cargo cult behavior since they're taking tactical symbols and plastering them all over their vehicles as a symbol of national strength rather than their intended purpose of communicating the vehicles affiliation.
I mean, thats a bit closer to the meaning of cargo cult but it still isn't that close. Besides, it seems the Z symbol especially was picked from the start as a propaganda symbol as there was some really early propaganda using it, like only a few days after the invasion started. I'm talking about 3 or 4. And it was obviously well made stuff too.
I'm not the original anon, just explaining why it could be seen as cargo cult behavior. I'd argue it's not just off the basis that it's not as if it's the first time a nation does this, the usage of a tactical symbol as a symbol of national pride (or much more commonly, the reverse) is not that uncommon in history, the complete disarray in terms of the usage of the tactical symbols is however cargo cult-y.
are you dumb or a bot? they're tungsten balls in 3-6mm size. No shit, its a different wound than a rifle bullet made of lead moving at a completely different speed that's also much larger.

And to think pro-rus people were almost appalled at the idea Russia would resort to BTR-50s.... and then it became the entire backbone of their mechanized forces
Russians strategy teaches that training is highly overrated and likely a waste of time when well-trained men are sent to their deaths the same as poorly trained ones.
You Abrams in the rear, it will also get knocked out. Either engine will fail, or ammo stowage get hits and blows up. Albeit in the case of the Abrams crew has a large chance of survival.
Front is where the tank armor is.
Nevertheless, Russian failures are doctrinal ones mostly. Like this scene. A tank, random tank, driving somewhere along the front line. Why? Where is the rest of the platoon?
>Can someone explain why the russian tanks are so fricking vulnerable?
It's generally not viable to more than lightly armor the top or top of a tank. A Western tank would have also be mission killed by an RPG HEAT round hitting at that angle. The specific issue with Russian tanks is an ultra cramped turret with the spare shells littered all around it.
People meme about it being an autoloader problem, but their pre-autoloader tanks weren't really much better.
>You can say the same about NATO vehicles though.
The upfront ammo storage on the Leo 2 is gay as heck, but all the turret ammunition is in the bustle with blowout panels. The kind of attack in OP would have caused an ammo cook off and probable mission kill, but the crew and most of the tank hull has decent odds of survival.
Abrams also has all the ammo in the bustle.
>Basically, the turret's autoloader is filled with poorly protected ammo,
The carousel autoloader is an issue but it's not the *biggest* issue. That's the cramped nature of the Turret meaning any spare ammo outside of the carousel is littered all over the turret interior. Full combat load means nearly every turret penetration runs serious risk of sending the turret into low earth orbit.
Honestly I think the biggest issue is that propellant and explosives are stored in contact with each other, without any kind of real protection. Also that Russia does not know what an insensitive munition is.
Contrast that with NATO tanks, where if the ammo is single piece it at the very least has splinter protection, and more often is placed under blow-out panels. Or if it is two piece the explosives are kept separate from propellant, which is then in protected bins. The NATO doctrine is that an ammo cookoff event will probably total the tank still, but the crew should either survive it or at the very least have time to bail before it begins properly brewing up.
Leo 2 was designed based on the german army doctrine of firing from behind concelement, so it is assumed the crew will follow said doctrine and the hull will be hidden behind a bern, besides upper front glacis is the thiccest part of any tank. The ammo at the back of the turret is behind a firewall.
there's video of leo2 getting disabled by a drone simply hitting the back of the turret and blowing up the ammo storage. obviously crew survives but its still all it takes to effectively kill the tank. it isn't that tanks aren't vulnerable, they all are, the difference is that the soviet doctrine doesn't put virtually any value into the crew comfort and crew survivability, so all these hits that would disable a tank also make all the ammo explode because having it outside of crew compartment was just too low on the priority list
Why why why WHY is that tank operating alone (the bmp at 0:03 looks disabled) and WHY aren't they concentrating their jamming in the sector they are assaulting and WHY WHY WHY aren't there, I don't know, some fricking counter drone/EW in the area (assuming there isn't since there are two different drones in the AO) and WHY WHY WHY would you just throw a single tank at the enemy lines when obviously this position is well defended judging by the 4 DEAD VEHICLES (HINT HINT)??? WHY WHY WHY ARE THEY SO STUPID? What a waste of human life.

Also I forgot about the written orders on a piece of paper, with listing of all the troops that are supposed to take part in the action, and also a list of all ammo and guns they should take. It's a clown world there.
Monke is actually working for the West, and his sole mission has been to make Russia as awful as possible for the last 20 years? And to kill as many Russians as possible? By starting moronic wars, spreading disease, alcoholism, etc. while still giving the West a credible boogeyman to defy? Is that even plausible?

To me it looks like the vodka ruins are painted over a different patch of paint that is lighter than the rest of the tank. That paint might be a little more blue than the rest of the green paint on the tank.
yeah. without going into any detail at all, if you can sacrifice image quality for stable image reception, you do it. imagine your guided missile just stops displaying an image because you cant get 480p, instead of just switching to 240p. modulation yadda yadda yadda

Probably a HEAT round for an RPG or a similar weapon, just without the booster part. Weighs maybe a kilo or two, can be carried by a cheap quadrotor just barely. Guess it doesn't matter if the battery is ruined in the process.
The most ghetto of these contraptions just zip tie or tape the grenade to the drone chassis and rely on its own contact fuse. Maybe that metal wire thing is more reliable at the speeds these drones usually impact at, who knows.
A bit of extra clearance might actually help some types of HEAT warheads.

it's not a bug, it's a feature :^)
The impact probably sent hot metal flying all over the insides. There's a reason why sane tank designs put the ammo in protected lockers.
Bethesda physics might actually be a good representation of what happens when your tank swallows HEAT.

As long as the dirty money is still coming and going, he'll be there unless they can get another former-KGB or USSR government employee who can keep the bribery going better. In which case, the war will only end because of the Ukrainians or because they found a better way to keep the robbery going.
See FOI R 1750 SE regarding standoff:
https://www.foi.se/rest-api/report/FOI-R--1750--SE
>and some cope cages
>0:0
Is that a nya-face on the top vehicle?
Considering the fireball, it probably hit the fuel tank, which then exploded ammo.
It was a HEAT round and burnt straight into ammo and fuel.
Gaijin, when are we getting kamikaze drones?
>surround your crew in ammo and fuel
They have to store it all somewhere and being compact has some advantages.
Maybe there are better configurations to deal with kamikaze drone strikes but it wasn't really designed with those in mind.
to some degree I see the logic of hiding the fuel tanks and ammo there but maybe counter intuitively for the russians the end result is the exact opposite of protecting the crew from blowing up
T-80's are getting upgraded to the TOS-1 standard?
T80 made it back under its own power bdw
Cope cage would have saved it.
nah, not from this angle
cope cages are still using the game design, that was originally meant to protect against top-down attack munitions (it wouldn't anyway)
you would need a cope dome, or a cope fence
Jeezus right in the tramp stamp
I think militaries of all sane countries massively put all perks into drones maxxing just by watching this fricking war.
This shit is way too cheap and effective.
>This shit is way too cheap and effective.
It's only effective if you are a poor military like Russia or Ukraine.
The 2023 Gaza war basically proved that if a modern military with effective EW is in the fight your cheap drones will do jackshit.
meat armor would have saved it
Tadaaa!
SHEEEEEEITTTTTTT
How would an american M1 Abrams operated by an american crew supported by the American Armed Forces deal with a threat like this. Unironically.
A single tank wouldn't be there.
>wouldn't have a single take operating alone
>drone would have been downed seconds after launch
>launch site would have been scrubbed of life by US air support
See the tube looking antenna in the back? That's a Duke RCIED jammer from the early GWOT. It nosold ISIS quadcopters within a kilometer.
Surely an Abrams could deal with the supercat on its own without the support
A strong contender for the 2024 Turret Toss Olympics
What would that feel like?
like a bag of coins
what does it say on the back of the turret?
Чepнyхa [Chernukha] - slang word, dark sides of life, everyday life, imbued with doom and hopelessness, accompanied by scenes of cruelty and violence, as well as showing such dark, unsightly sides of life, everyday life[1]. It is spread primarily in cinema and literature as one of the manifestations of hyperrealism[2].
thanks
An apt description of what likely was the life of this tank and its crew before it became an impromptu funeral pyre
So basically:
>if only you knew how bad things really are
And they really meant that
That's a lot of words to just say Russia
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D1%87%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BD%D1%83%D1%85%D0%B0
>only chechens are allowed to enter from the rear
"Aim here for fireworks"
why can't we get footage like this out of gaza?
Hamas is too busy winning so they don't have the time to record propaganda.
Hamas got curbstomped, the conflict is practically over.
SandBlack folk are too stupid to deal with even the most basic drone jammers
Also they probably can't get drones in
They did a couple of drone drops early on but I think they had very few drones.
Hamas neither has the manpower nor equipment for this to happen.
The bits will be so blackened and charred I assume you can only discern them from pieces of the tank based on smell.
Gory but you find the body parts by looking at the flies. The flies won't swarm a charred piece of the seats but will swarm a charred bicep.
>That contact fuze
I'm losing my shit here
Almost all of them use this same style of contact fuze/loop switch. If it works, it works.
if you want people to guess you should remove the solution from the picture
Seems like NLAW aimed at the turret backside will be godlike. Good to know.
might be true
>the ukes stole our tank
>but we blew it up with our own drone
And that's why ukranians are publishing the video
Ukraine blows up Russian tank: 1 loss to Russia.
Shill - The Ukies stole our tank so we blew it up with our own drone: 3 Russian L's.
Is this turdworlder smooth-brain functionality at work?
This is one of the best turret tossing footage I've seen yet.
Here the absolute proper webm, not the half asssed attempts the others have been posting.
>Z and V symbols on the same vehicle
Remember when Vatniks could at least vaguely argue whole Z spray paint thing was just IFF localized to units in different theaters? It really has just devolve into cargo cult symbology.
Genuinely amazing that the morons chose symbols that don't even exist in their language.
They were chosen specifically because they weren't in the Cyrillic language.
It makes them far more recognizable
Well it used to be Zapad and Vostok, west and east. "Army group" designations.
These days it's just a swastika.
I remember just before they invaded.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/44413/mysterious-symbols-are-appearing-on-russian-military-vehicles-near-ukraine
That's not what cargo cult means dumbass
I'd argue it's not just off the basis that it's not as if it's the first time a nation does this, the usage of a tactical symbol as a symbol of national pride (or much more commonly, the reverse) is not that uncommon in history, the complete disarray in terms of the usage of the tactical symbols is however cargo cult-y.
btw at 0:07 that's the same flipped BTR-50 wreck from mid October last year
https://twitter.com/UAWeapons/status/1713192932906320385
Also the same as this one.
When the war ends, it will be a salvager's paradise.
Imagine buying T-80's on ebay. Running when parked.
and it's going to be delivered by people glowing so hard you won't be able to see the package.
Imagine cleaning up the tungsten fragments
I wonder how that would cost per KG.
I wonder if they pulled any from the bodies, that shit is fricking scary.
sheeesh
Jesus, was he even alive? Also interesting how some of the holes aren't 7.62 NATO sized. Maybe its the entry wounds?
are you dumb or a bot? they're tungsten balls in 3-6mm size. No shit, its a different wound than a rifle bullet made of lead moving at a completely different speed that's also much larger.
>Day tour to an abandoned battlefield! (Weather permitting, Transport provided)

>sponsored by DJI
I'd go there
Oh frick, you are right
And to think pro-rus people were almost appalled at the idea Russia would resort to BTR-50s.... and then it became the entire backbone of their mechanized forces
Yep.
To roll past the burned out husks of your friends just to die the same all in the name of the glorious leader.
Those were obviously retreating Ukrainian BMPs (they paused their retreat to paint Zs on them in hope of demoralizing us)
>Year of our lord two thousand and an additional twenty followed by a further four
>BTR-50
Those are from 2023 - I’m not sure if that’s more or less hilarious
>russia throws massive amounts of men and material into winter offensive
>almost zero progress
implessive, very implessive!
Can someone geolocate? Why do ziggers like dying over there so much?
I wish I was as good at anything in my life or even any computer game as these drone pilots are at killing russians
Every day I am reminded of the might of the second army in the world
>*record scratch*
>blyat, thats us, you are probably wondering how we ended up here
>filmed on a tank training ground
uh...
It's weird to choose Avdiivja as your tank training grounds.
Russians strategy teaches that training is highly overrated and likely a waste of time when well-trained men are sent to their deaths the same as poorly trained ones.
?t=39
Impressive start but the delivery was weak, I give this a 3.5/10 for turret tossing, little if any flip, height or distance. Sorry.
Can someone explain why the russian tanks are so fricking vulnerable? Aren't they supposed to be tough and shit? Are all tanks like that?
And yet we haven't seen a single Leo2 ammo cookoff
in Ukraine
Those were bombed by the Turkish air force to prevent capture, you imbecile.
This is how a ammo cook off in a leo looks like
Leo 2 was designed based on the german army doctrine of firing from behind concelement, so it is assumed the crew will follow said doctrine and the hull will be hidden behind a bern, besides upper front glacis is the thiccest part of any tank. The ammo at the back of the turret is behind a firewall.
You don't have to put ammo in the front. You have the option to do so. Turret ammo has blowout panels if I'm not mistaken.
there's video of leo2 getting disabled by a drone simply hitting the back of the turret and blowing up the ammo storage. obviously crew survives but its still all it takes to effectively kill the tank. it isn't that tanks aren't vulnerable, they all are, the difference is that the soviet doctrine doesn't put virtually any value into the crew comfort and crew survivability, so all these hits that would disable a tank also make all the ammo explode because having it outside of crew compartment was just too low on the priority list
I know Russia has an endless supply of orcs willing to go die for a couple of hundred bucks. And I know they have the soviet stockpile.
But how can anyone objectively look at how things have went the past month and think everything is going good?
Why лook? Not my probлem.
Because Russia has no NCO's and the whole chain of command is merely a suggestion.
This is why you get shit like this, shit like lone Tank driving around in a city getting hit by RPGs from every side, or you have a squad taking APC on a joyride to loot nearby gas statiton.
>or you have a squad taking APC on a joyride to loot nearby gas statiton.
top kek
I NEED that Gorka suit goddamn
They might be little cave trolls but Gorka + SMERSH is megabased
nothing rusBlack person gear is "based." I'd shoot you on the spot if I saw you doing civil unrest
Shut the frick up Black person, a broken clock can still be right twice a day and the vatBlack folk manage to drunkenly stumble onto gold with gorka and the AK
WORLD STAR !
>they leave the toilet paper
>My Zomboid crew rolling up on a gas station
Also I forgot about the written orders on a piece of paper, with listing of all the troops that are supposed to take part in the action, and also a list of all ammo and guns they should take. It's a clown world there.
Putin wants to LARP as Stalin and you got to pump up those Russian Death numbers to get close.
>Send in the next wave
Ayo hol up.
What if....
With the demographics of Russia it seems to be Putins only goal. Even if they take all of Ukraine the death of Russia is only a matter of time.
You need to understand the vatnik mind.
he West would have preferred if Russia never chimped out and they could keep buying Russian oil and gas for pennies.
god DAMN that was well aimed
Turret flew like what, 5-10 meters? Single flip? I dunno man, I get that it's a good kill but Ima giv'r 4/10 for style.
what are the immediate effects to the human body in an turret tossing explosion
TZD or TUD, depends on who's driving
200$ drone > 10M$ tank
That's how obsolete tanks are.
Suddenly I became sad because I realized that one day this war will end and we will be left without a daily dose of dead vatniks. And I'm already addicted to it, I just don't see how I can go back to the same, old boring news after this.
>one day this war will end
lmao he doesn't know
monke won't live forever
monke is just a puppet, he works for the underground KGB at this point. the soviet union officially dissolved but they never disappeared. he'll just be replaced with the next apparatchik
Without vatniks begging for their lives or being terrified before being brutally killed, what the frick am I gonna fap to?!
Frick porn!
This is WAAAAAY better!
>playing with your food
Every time with that video
You have a rifle dude, at least try to take a shot at the drone hovering 5 meters away.
He has a rifle but the other soldier was the one with the ammo
Anyone have that one where the drone operator was fricking with a runner until he just gave up and laid down to die?
Now you see it.
Now you don't.
>so nice of them to mark the weak point with a V
Why do the orc scribbles look blue from the 3rd POV drone? Is it just some camera resolution frickery?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_balance
To me it looks like the vodka ruins are painted over a different patch of paint that is lighter than the rest of the tank. That paint might be a little more blue than the rest of the green paint on the tank.
yeah. without going into any detail at all, if you can sacrifice image quality for stable image reception, you do it. imagine your guided missile just stops displaying an image because you cant get 480p, instead of just switching to 240p. modulation yadda yadda yadda
Do you think that the crew was aware they were about to die or did they die too suddenly to notice?
>Calling out language but not replying to anyone
>Weird, but generally "correct" English
For everyone else, this is how you spot vatnik diaspora.
I do not understand this whole war thing. They have stealth jets: why dont they just bomb putin?
I think Russia's nasty rusty nukes can still do some damage
thats the reason Navy Seals are not busy sourcing material for their next book deals
>I do not understand this whole war thing. They have stealth jets: why dont they just bomb putin?
Targeting the enemy head of state is illegal:
https://lieber.westpoint.edu/assassination-law-of-war/
This just says you can't do it via perfidy.
Flying a warplane overhead and dropping a missile on someone is fair game, having someone dress in civilian clothes and shank them at a dinner party isn't.
It's illegal if you lose.
I'm pretty sure Ukraine doesn't have stealth jets, anon. And who's "they"?
smol turret toss, unexpected but welcome surprise
nice, flashy fireball
filmed from two angles, without needless cuts

what's with the wire through the circle? are these really just impact triggers that are that crude?
If it works, then it works.
It's an expendable munition, why make it any more complex than necessary?
Drone impacts target, wire in the loop (circle) touches the loop, completes electric circuit, detonates warhead. Presto! Fricasseed ruskii.
What if they accidentally bump it while arming?
That would be very painful.
this is not the result of a tungsten burst you fricking moron
At first I thought the word on the back of the tank was "Black folk" in Ukrainian. It's close. чepняхa vs чepнyхa
Would be fricking hilarious if the Slavshits were advertising themselves as subhuman
>why bother armoring your tanks when the enemy can reliably bring a shaped charge to its weakest spot
How do you prevent this? Will we see some AI controlled micro-CIWS mounted on tanks?
Song?
ty king
What’s the payload? Fuse made me laugh, whatever works.
They usually use standard PG-7VL.
Jesus Christ. Dude's back looks like a piece of cork wood.
