I'm not sure why because they don't look like it but single shots are super fun to shoot and reload and I love the ones that eject the shell when you open it *plunk* sounds like a 40mm

Well son, a shotgun can only get you so far. You really should have a bolt gun too.

With your durr rifle, yer also gonna want a squirrel rifle. Can't be using no thirty aught-six on no squirrel, it ruins the meat.

It's a pretty flexible gun. Who even makes these anymore? I don't even know where to get a nice single shot that isn't a trap gun anymore. H&R is now a PSA AR builder, right?

I don't know about higher-end brands, but I've heard the Stevens 301 is pretty good for a sub-$200 Chinesium single-shot. It's a takedown with a synthetic stock and screw-in chokes. Probably not what you'd call "nice" but it sounds versatile.

Just get a Maverick like a normal poor person. Reserve the single shots for the homeless, and arm them for the uprising.

No need to find someone making new ones. Used single shot shotguns are a dime a dozen at gunshops.

    30-50 feral hogs

  10. 2 weeks ago

I was once hunting with my M60. I bagged two deer, and then 950 or so feral hogs descended upon my position. My hunting buddy put out a spread of airbursting mortar fire and I deployed my own guns bipod. My friends position was overrun and he was tragically gored, but thanks to his shells and my wall of lead, the morale of the hogs was soon broken and I was able to make it out with my life. As I shambled, bloodied but unbroken back to my car, a game warden confiscated my gun, my friends corpse, and beat me within an inch of my life for failing to recite the Magna Carta backwards. I would not, after this harrowing incident, be caught with a single shot chambered in any round other than .45/70.

I like having a pistol since it lets me keep myself and others safe. You wouldn’t understand since you’re a literal serf.

Here, a forbidden gun in bongola. Now make a soijak scream and run off.

i prefer the ability to load at least 5 rounds in total on a shotty, assuming this is a standard, legal reasons & otherwise, of course
if its a rifle, i'm "okay" with it, but it'd still prefer more
thats about it, really, after that
i'm used to cali living, both illegal & not
frick california, i'll have 30rd mags whenever the frick i feel like, you ain't gonna stop me

Great! Glad to share! On another note, can anyone help me identify a Springfield break action 12 gauge with the latch on the side? I don't usually post to this website but don't know where else to go.

Likely made by Savage and sold under Springfield's brand. Likely made before 1950. Did you even attempt to Google this?

If I'm going for dangerous game, I want me a second shot just to be sure.
In the thick forests you don't really need anything more than a double shotgun, but nobody should be barred from wanting more (and I would love to have more), neither should anyone be mocked for doing fine with less gear.
