I'm not sure why because they don't look like it but single shots are super fun to shoot and reload and I love the ones that eject the shell when you open it *plunk* sounds like a 40mm
Well son, a shotgun can only get you so far. You really should have a bolt gun too.
>autoloading 12g >Bolt action .30-06 or .308 with sight >.357 revolver >semi auto .22 >any pre 1960 semi automatic pistol
Tell me that you need more than the classic boomer core collection.
It's a pretty flexible gun. Who even makes these anymore? I don't even know where to get a nice single shot that isn't a trap gun anymore. H&R is now a PSA AR builder, right?
I don't know about higher-end brands, but I've heard the Stevens 301 is pretty good for a sub-$200 Chinesium single-shot. It's a takedown with a synthetic stock and screw-in chokes. Probably not what you'd call "nice" but it sounds versatile.
You don't need your phone btw.
Totally optional for life.
You don't need PrepHole either.
You should follow your principle of dictating what people "need"
I was once hunting with my M60. I bagged two deer, and then 950 or so feral hogs descended upon my position. My hunting buddy put out a spread of airbursting mortar fire and I deployed my own guns bipod. My friends position was overrun and he was tragically gored, but thanks to his shells and my wall of lead, the morale of the hogs was soon broken and I was able to make it out with my life. As I shambled, bloodied but unbroken back to my car, a game warden confiscated my gun, my friends corpse, and beat me within an inch of my life for failing to recite the Magna Carta backwards. I would not, after this harrowing incident, be caught with a single shot chambered in any round other than .45/70.
>20rd mags they used to use
Those don't exist, the "French military" model isn't real

Not true: third parties made 20 rd mags for law enforcement https://vintagesemiautorifle.proboards.com/thread/167/winchester-1907-replacement-magazines
Winchester never made above 15rd mags but I never said factory mag
i prefer the ability to load at least 5 rounds in total on a shotty, assuming this is a standard, legal reasons & otherwise, of course
if its a rifle, i'm "okay" with it, but it'd still prefer more
thats about it, really, after that
i'm used to cali living, both illegal & not
frick california, i'll have 30rd mags whenever the frick i feel like, you ain't gonna stop me
Great! Glad to share! On another note, can anyone help me identify a Springfield break action 12 gauge with the latch on the side? I don't usually post to this website but don't know where else to go.
If I'm going for dangerous game, I want me a second shot just to be sure.
In the thick forests you don't really need anything more than a double shotgun, but nobody should be barred from wanting more (and I would love to have more), neither should anyone be mocked for doing fine with less gear.
they tend to travel in packs you know
They hunt in packs

With your durr rifle, yer also gonna want a squirrel rifle. Can't be using no thirty aught-six on no squirrel, it ruins the meat.

Looks like Henry makes them now
Just get a Maverick like a normal poor person. Reserve the single shots for the homeless, and arm them for the uprising.
No need to find someone making new ones. Used single shot shotguns are a dime a dozen at gunshops.
>Who even makes these anymore
Baikal MP-18 is in production since 1940s or 30s with few changes
And some turkshitters are there for you.

Ducks usually come in groups, not singles. I'll stick with my A5.

30-50 feral hogs

I like having a pistol since it lets me keep myself and others safe. You wouldn’t understand since you’re a literal serf.
Here, a forbidden gun in bongola. Now make a soijak scream and run off.
Hey now, Jerry, don't you go scaring no brown folks with that.
>brown folk
Jeff, I think the proper nomenclature is "Black" now. No need to spread hate speech. My grandchildren are mixed race you know

The 380 version is for scaring
Also an assault rifle made in 1908
What you have there is an *automatic carbine* made in 1908
How do I find one of the 20rd mags they used to use? It basically makes it a civilian AK47

Has anyone ever seen a Springfield like this?
I have now!

nta but that's the first time I've ever seen one. That's a cool pic btw. Mind if I save it?
Go ahead! I have some more if that helps.
Likely made by Savage and sold under Springfield's brand. Likely made before 1950. Did you even attempt to Google this?
>Savage
Oops, meant Stevens although Savage is also a possibility.
Thanks for the lead!
YW.
I'd email Springfield with the serial # and see what they have to say.
I have checked it up and down and can't find one. There's "Springfield Arms Company", "12 Gauge", and "Pat. Pending"
If I'm going for dangerous game, I want me a second shot just to be sure.
