I partly welcome the collapse. I hate modern society and modern culture. We need a collapse to build something new in the ruins.
My chief interest and political strategy is how to prep for the global collapse.
My aim is to own land in a fairly remote area near a friendly self sufficient farming community here in Thailand. I want to own solar panels and store books and important things for my family. Live off grid to an extent.
I have high regard for the Amish in America. High birth rates. Non-degenerate community. Non-reliant on the government and almost completely self-sufficient.

get a solar "generator" with at least 400W of solar panels. with that, you can run a refrigerator/chest freezer and charge batteries for cordless power tools. so something like the ecoflow delta 2 and milwaukee/dewalt power drills, sawzall, circular saw, etc. dewalt has the 60V flexvolt batteries that can be used with their 20V tools as well. so theoretically you could power a 60V chainsaw and all your other tools with solar.
You need three main areas of preparations:
>1. Food and water storage
>2. Defense
>3. Skills
In the first category you want to have food that can be stored long-term but you don't want to store long-term goyslop. Boomer preppers on YouTube will tell you to store rice and beans because it lasts long but that is slave food. You should have some rice and beans just because they can add to a meal and extend your food supply, but if you think you're eating rice bowls everyday and you're not a Chinaman, you're just going to rot your teeth and give yourself insulin resistance. You need to store meat and it's better to have multiple small chest freezers rather than one large chest freezer in case the power goes down. three small chest freezers with 40 lb of meat in each of them can last you 4-6 months (depending on your diet).
Important note: you should store food that you already eat not prepackaged goyslop and not a bunch of shit that you have never tasted.

Water is easy--find a source near home. By near, I mean you can walk to it with a trash can sized receptacle, fill it with water, and then walk that back to your home. If you don't have that, making a man-made pond is actually easier than you suspect if you own land. But easiest of all is buy two or three 50 gallon food grade drums and fill them. Attach a rainwater catchment system for infinite refills. Just filter the water with a Berkey or something before you drink.

if you don't own a gun you're gay. You need at minimum a pistol and a rifle. If you're an American this means an AR-15 and something like a Glock or a Sig. Guys in the gun community are worse than truck gays. Everyone will tell you why theirs is the best and yours is the worst and you need to get the doohickey-bellwhistle 9000 or "it just ain't gonna work brother". It's bullshit. A good name brand gun like Glock or Sig or Ruger or Springfield or HK, even Canik or any of them will work fine. (Hi-Point really does suck, please don't do that). Get a PSA Dagger if you really want; PSA makes great budget guns. In fact when it comes to your rifle--which should be an AR-15 because of the availability, the modularity, and the likelihood that you can exchange magazines with a friend or neighbor--you can go to Palmetto State Armory online and buy one for like under $500. What matters most about your guns is that you train with them more.
Be physically strong. Know how to fight. You aren't joining the UFC, but you should know how to throw several punches forcefully and not get off balanced, how to get someone off you when they've grabbed you, how to choke and strangle an assailant, how to get out from underneath a big fat homie, and how to trip a big fat homie on his ass to make room to run.
Note: a knife is a poor choice for self defense unless you know how to knife fight. And you do not. Conversely, a knife is a non-negotiable absolutely necessary tool to have for 6 million other reasons, and in last resort it can be used to defend yourself, but if he knows you have a knife and rushes you, "your" knife becomes "our" knife in that struggle, and you might die by your own blade.

my parents have the exact solar generator he recommended it works really well, it will run power tools fine. we plugged it into my dads freezer and after 2 days it had only used half the battery. when charging with solar panels it takes alot of time. a full day of solar charging will only charge the bank 50% but it does have a speed charge function when plugged into a wall outlet and it takes an hour or so to fully charge
and if you really want to save some money, just get a power inverter that plugs into a cigarette lighter.
