Just buy the mp5 clone, anon.
SMGs are purely for fun nowadays so why not go for the best and most fun, even if it has to be a clone?

I would buy the mp5 instead of the mp5k

Buy the mp5 with the longest barrel you can find.
Then shoot exclusively at distance over 60 yards. It will be great fun.

Because AR15 controls and manual of arms is the most important factor in any firearm on the planet. The only other concern is if it takes Glock or AR mags.

You shouldn't. Mp5 clones are better

Mpx is the best PCC on the market, idc if you think I’m a israeli shill, it’s true

      >I’m a israeli shill, it’s true
MPX has a very cute ejection port I’ll give you that, and at least it’s not another ugly straight blowback option. It’s no MP5 however.

        > It’s no MP5 however.
I agree. It's better in some ways, specially if you are competition shooter because of the controls, but the MP5 and its clones manage to shoot as flat if not more, to be as accurate if not more, be just as easy to suppress than the MPX, but with only half the moving parts.
In other words, the MPX is a bit overengineered for a 9mm PCC, but it's a cool gun nonetheless.

Plus, you can't really slap the MPX to send the bolt home.

But Sig-Sauer is part german, so your point is moot.

Now that century made AP-5s are in the $1200-$1300 range, the stribog has lost ground in it's territory.
They're really cool guns and they mount optics better but otherwise the mp5 is just a little more expensive for a much cooler gun.

Oh shit that's a UTAS, not a Stribog.
Same difference, one just has more AR features.

        Literally the most important part.

The AR charging handle sucks, Stribog is superior to this POS.

Obviously not, he doesn't know what the specification is so he's afraid to bring it up with somebody who might. Easier to complain about phantom issues on an anonymous Greek Irredentism board.

Complete POS gun. Receiver cracked, jammed often. Took months before factory sent a replacement. Costs as much as an MP5 right now.

I'd get an MPX before anything but 9mm rifles are pointless for me so meh. Just get more proficient with your handgun.

literally no reason to buy a pistol caliber HK clone that fires semi-auto, if you're gonna buy an mp5 get the real deal or buy something else

Just buy a Kriss Vector if you want le fancy smg.

if the MPX were made by HK or Beretta instead of Sig, you wouldn't have anything bad to say about it

HK makes overpriced stuff as well.
If you’re buying an smg you’re buying it for le cool factor to show off at the range.
Vector has the best cool factor and has Glock mags.

If you’re not buying to show of on the range, and you just want to be a collectorgay then get your limited edition mp5 or whatever.
If you need to plink at range then you don’t get an smg.

What if I want a gun with a stock/brace that will fit in a reasonably-sized backpack while still leaving room in the bag for other stuff like a laptop and a raincoat?

I like the Stribog, but I'm waiting on the 5" mini Glock version. There's something so sexy about a boxy, bulky compact PCC. That's my ideal of what a PCC should be. Small, compact, lite weight. Rifles are rifles, shotguns are shotguns, Sniper Rifles are Sniper rifles. Submachine guns/PCC should be smol.
