Girkin says Russians are succesfully counterattacking.

Ukie bros, I don't feel so good... They can't even get to the main defensive line...
>A counterattack by 127th Division of our troops at the Vremevsky Outpost, supported by artillery and aircraft, is reported. According to the reports, our troops knocked the enemy out of Makarovo village and continue to push them northwards, inflicting fire strikes by aircraft and artillery. If this is true, then it is a confirmation of the tactics successfully used many times before (during this enemy offensive) - our units do not "stand still" under the enemy's artillery and armoured vehicles and retreat to the rear, giving them an opportunity to "get out from under the air defence and air defence umbrella". The enemy is then subjected to air strikes, with UAVs correcting artillery fire on the strike teams. Then - when the enemy is already sufficiently battered - a counterattack by tanks with dense air support follows in order to prevent the AFU from pulling its SAMs into the area and securing a foothold on the ground. This leads to the defeat of the enemy's assault units and their retreat. The tactic is old and developed from World War II - "flexible defence" - and it seems to be working successfully. One can also assume that our commanders do not want to retain or regain all the territory they have left, preferring to wear enemy down on the battlefield between their home positions and our main defensive lines (to which the enemy has not yet reached). And, yes, exactly the same tactics had been used by our enemy in the defense of Bakhmut. Now he has to experience all the delights of advancing on prearranged positions with complete lack of surprise. However, once again, the battle has not yet reached its highest point, and the enemy still has strong reserves (5-6 brigades), which it can throw into battle in any direction.

shit like this is the reason ukrainian official sources post info about captured territories with the delay of 2-3 days.

unlike the pro-ukrainian twitter shills which copypaste delusions and lies into news headers, like

Tom Cooper says the Ukies bushwhacked them real hard and other sources also indicate that the 127th was completely smashed:
      https://twitter.com/NOELreports/status/1668188445078847488?t=1E-hdCK_BcV2kWXzBMp1hQ&s=19

Perhaps Girkin was early to celebrate. Apparently the Vermivka Bulge is also gone now and Russian milbloggers are in meltdown.

Can anyone verify this based on Vatnik TG channels?

You could see by the body language how the structure of power was. The guy shooting was clearly a kadyrovite and the guy who talked to him wasnt of a lower rank or anything. But his body language was super submissive and you could see he was begging the Chechen to let his team reposition.

I don’t want to live in a world without Ukraine. I don’t want to live in a world where Kyiv is Kiev. I don’t want to live in a world without Zelensky.

Every morning I get up, I think about him, and it makes me sad. All of his emotions, the hardships he is going through. I used to think it was just the HRT making me more emotional and fem, but I really do think I feel a spiritual connection to this man. Hell when I started my transition, I thought I was firmly a transbian who only liked other girls, but I really think I’m starting to develop feelings for Zelensky. Every time I see him on the TV, it makes my heart warm up a little bit, to see him smiling and talking is just so beautiful. But then I remember how his country is under attack, and all the work he does to protect his people. How scared and vulnerable he must feel sometimes. It makes me emotional and sometimes I even start crying a little bit. I just want to hug him and tell him everything will be okay. To hold him in my arms and kiss him tenderly, giving all my affection and love to him. That there is someone out there who loves him and supports him through all the hardships.

Then he would take off his military fatigues and appear to me in the nude. For once, he can show a bit of his vulnerable side. That beyond his green shirt and camo-clad pants, he was only but a man. And I would look at his hairy body and rough skin, thinking to myself what what a beautiful boy I have. I would begin to undress myself as well, to show him that I am willing to be vulnerable with him too. And we would then make sweet, tender love together.

Rome didn't fall from homos and orgies and they never embraced them either. Cleopatra also had very little agency in what happened to Egypt. She was by contemporary accounts an at least competent statesman, but Rome was going to get what it wanted and she put her eggs in the wrong basket. I don't know shit about china and I really don't care either, so I won't address that one and assume you're correct

Cleopatra was very smart in all matters except for picking sides in Roman internal conflicts. Often she had the right idea, then Marc Anthony screwed everything up doing something she didn't agree too. Repeatedly.

OF COURSE Ukraine beat these dumbasses off.

Maybe Russians captured on the counter-attack should be summarily killed no matter what? Except officers, torture them until they die for intelligence. This way Russians will learn that if they do anything but hide or retreat they'll either die, or be tortured and die.

And why would you want that? You WANT your enemy to surrender, it's by far the easiest option that spreads throughout the whole batallion. Just killing some of them makes the others fight harder, but if they see that they can just surrender and be treated humanely, they're more likely to do it

Not unlikely insofar as that Russia has had plenty of trouble with maneuvering units but the upper hand in situations where it managed to pull Ukraine into a static war allowing Russians to hammer positions with superior quantity. It's idiotic to assume the Russian don't learn from a year of heavy fighting and denying their capabilites is, if anything, not helping Ukraine in any way. As he says though, there is probably plenty to come and we have little to no information on the progress in general. Large-scale offensive action takes time and the Ukies aren't brain dead so they know very well how costly any breakthrough action is.

Btw, the guy Girkin reposts writes a little bit more about the fights in Makarivka. He is in the army and was serving on the Zapo front
Military analysts are already brazenly speculating about the Vremya protrusion, claiming that it almost begins in the Crimea at Staromlynovka.

It was named this way because of the village of Vremevka, which is adjacent to Velyka Novoselka. While our army held Neskuchnoe and Blagodatnoe, extremely inconvenient village Watchtower could supply our army with arms and reserves. Having lost Neskuchnoe and Blagodatnoe, Storozhevoye and Makarovka began to fall, because it would be suicidal to stay in them.

Initially, this bulge was held on snot. The supply line ran through open countryside along the river. The main threat was that the flanks at Ravnopol and Novodonetsk could collapse, and then the AFU would encircle our army by cutting the road at Staromoyrsky and Urozhaynoye. It would have been enough to cut ONE road and it would have been impossible to break out of the encirclement without a fight.

The terrain there is very difficult, there are no reserve roads for supplies, the settlements are divided by the river, the road is terrible and the terrain is open, there are fields and plains all around.

Rainfall is reported in that area. I fought in such conditions there and can say with certainty that the roads are washed away. Not only enemy supply is complicated, but also supply of bk and reserves for our troops. To reach the combat positions our troops have to go a long way from the main logistic routes.

The fact that the grouping in Neskuchnoe has not been surrounded, although there was a serious chance, and that our troops have not been thrown back to Staromlynovka yet, indicates that the defence as a whole is being successfully conducted, and images of burnt equipment confirm this.

You know it's funny because some of the reports that the Russians retook some ground are probably true, but the Ukrainians are also probably doing a lot of probes in a manner that's meant to make them indistinguishable from the main effort, and if/when those probes meet significant resistance, they won't get reinforced, instead the forces involved will retreat. To the defender, this looks like "my enemy attacked me, made some progress, but then I pushed them back and retook the ground."

The most telling thing in there is
      > No visual proof of these claim[s] is given.
Consider all the times in the past that that the Kremlin has confidently reported a completion of a successful maneuver and then had to walk it back when they discovered it was still ongoing.
      > Russian forces are stiffened and now have the momentum
Grey Zone (and I think Two Majors?) are already reporting that the Vremievsky Bulge was locked into a kind of "cage", where that stiffening quickly became flaccid and impotent, and they've conceded that the AFU's momentum is now proving dominant. The Ukrainian probing has deepened into more aggressive penetration, and it remains to be seen if the RuAF can take the whole thing.
The best explanation I've seen for what happened is in picrel: the Russian assault at Makiivka was a last-ditch effort by Russian forces who realized they were surrounded. Rather than withdraw to the defensive lines, they've tried to flank. Early reports are that they got pushed back, but the fog of war is still pretty thick.

The stiffened dick is in the ass, but the anus has yet to clench. As such, one can assume our units will begin to "tense the abdominal muscles" and deliver a finishing, crushing blow to the Ukronazi regime's insidious "Western erection"

Sure they are, I'm also a billionaire. Both sides are saying all kinds of shit right now, only videos speak for themselves as to how well the current operations are going. Right now it's too early to say the Ukrainians are doing well and too little information but there's also little information to tell if the Russians are going to be able to respond effectively. The Russians had some early propaganda wins with leopards and Bradleys getting destroyed but now the Ukrainians are clawing back with videos of towns taken and Russian armor knocked out or destroyed.

We're in the propaganda war right now, anyone saying definitively who is winning is speaking about shit they have no clue about. Only those fighting and in positions to know truly know how well this is going and even then we could be being fed lies.
