Have you ever done this? I did last week

I have a gun, I want things to mess with me
I have big dog, nothing ever messes with me.
Having a dog with you drastically increases your chance of being attacked by a bear.
Having a dog and a gun drastically increases your chance of killing a bear
You’ve never even seen a bear, so you shouldn’t worry about it.
Not everyone lives where you live, anon. There are other predators than bears innawoods.
>my dog will protect me against a mountain lion or pack of wolves or an alligator
Oh ok
t. 50kg good boy
Oh, and most importantly, my primary worry is a pack of wild muzzies, and they are scared shitless of dogs.
>inb4 go further PrepHole
I'm a europoor, everything is within driving distance of a nearby enriched city.
As a Canadian I feel really bad for you. I literally drive 30 minutes in any direction and take my pick of lakes, bush, logging roads, etc. but at least you guys got the British "people" out that's good.
I know man, I've seen your country and the Americas in general. The amount of space is mindboggling. I hope you're taking advantage of it anon.
>you guys got
Nothing. We got nothing nowhere because the EU is a tyranical effeminate deep state bureaucracy that does whatever the hell it wants.
My dog is a pitt. It protects me from toddlers.
I laughed harder than I should've, but I still hope your dog gets shot.
Realy? I shouldn't get a dog then?
>tfw you thought you smelled salmon in that tent but it's just a roastie
Do bears ever accidentally confuse stinky pussy for fish?
I wouldn't worry about it
Beats the alternative of surprising them. Bears seem surprisingly unaware of their surroundings.
Reminds me of that video of that dude fishing and a bear comes up to the river 10' away from the guy and sits there before realizing there's a guy right next to him.
>he doesn't have thermals and/or nods
lmao @ (you)
>needing nods/thermals
cope
bobo!
Yes. Camped next to a big swamp in central Florida. Heard some shit rustling out in the woods. Thought for sure there was a gator or a bear outside of my tent. Step outside, shine my light into the abyss. There he is. Brian Laundrie, standing next to a palm, furiously fricking a leather coin sack under the cover of a pale moon. I yelled out “Hunts over van gay!” He receded into the brush, leaving a trail of nuggets behind as he galloped. 2 days later they found his body. Coincidence?
Can't believe that happened to you anon
I remember a horse stuck their massive face right in my tent one morning. Scared the hell out of me.
Moving to the smokies tomorrow. I have no experience with black bears. Though I lived in Kodiak for a few years and ran into picrel
>mini Kodiak bear dump why not?
Anyway, any tips for dealing with black bear? Sorry for the shit quality I was using a 2009 point and shoot camera
Get them before they get you. Drop from a tree onto their back and tie yourself to it with some 550
Bear canister. Eat away from camp. Don't sleep with smellables. Carry bear spray just in case. Make noise occasionally.
Sorted.
Those frickers are expert swimmers. You are not save if you kajak to an island and camp there. I learned that the hard way.
I like to take my gun out and do a couple pops off before bed, let every thing know I'm strapped.
night time is the best time
Biased because I'm from black bear country, but I really wouldn't worry about it.

no and I think challenging animals for territory by pretending to be on of them is a bad idea Majority of the time they don't want anything to do with you. Firearms are the solution to those other times.
>I did last week
I'm sure the stick that got knocked down by wind was absolutely frightened as we're all the spiders.
