Basic civvie shit is not nods and high cuts, IR beacons, full auto, uncucked lasers, Bearcats, lethal munitions/DD’s, etc. I’m all for cops having the gear they need but there is a huge difference between real operators who deploy into non-permissive environments against targets who have unlimited weapons and often engage in sustained firefights and doing a search warrant where you control the area and have unlimited support and time.

When I was on an overseas team, the instructor said don’t let SWAT teams bamboozle you when they say “We did 125 warrants last year, because they are going in 10-12 deep, doing slow methodical room clearing (which if you’ve done it you’d know is not the same as real CQD). A small DA element doesn’t have that luxury or need.

but sbu alpha is basically ukrainian tier 1 direct action team?

It doesn't instill trust in local law enforcement, but the government pushed this shit because they are afraid of the people revolting really. What they didn't expect is that law enforcement like joining Patriot militias.

No. SBU Alpha Group is literally Ukraine's direct action special mission unit. I suppose the closest US equivalent (direct action assault force who works for an intel agency) is CIA's Ground Branch. The SBU is formerly the Ukrainian KGB but they've been partnered with the CIA and 5 Eyes intel services since Euromaidan.

based post and thus will be ignored by tactitards and shills. The most dangerous current trend is a convergence between Western and Eastern models of government. Combining financial oligarchy and media monopolies with mandarin/chinovnik style managerial state will result in suppression of fundamental rights for everyone and also corrupted and inept state apparatus utterly detached from the needs of society. Imagine woke corporatism guarded by closed off military class.

Martial law in a war torn country is no joke. Arresting saboteurs can be outright dangerous, they can be armed and have traps.
This isn't some guy, this is a traitor they are arresting that is potentially working with the enemy.

Hmm. Technically no in my countries law I guess, but idk about Ukraine.

His residence there would be seen as having some level of allegiance to the nation his is in, and thus he has betrayed that trust, and thus he has betrayed them, and is thus a traitor by definition.

The Algemeiner, a global news destination published online and in print, serves as an independent media voice covering the Middle East, Israel and matters of israeli interest around the world.

It was founded in 1972 by famed journalist Gershon Jacobson as Der Algemeiner Journal and was originally published in Yiddish. In 2008, Dovid Efune was named Editor-in-Chief and Executive Director. In 2012, he launched Algemeiner.com. The Algemeiner’s board is chaired by Gershon’s oldest son Simon Jacobson.

Algemeiner is a Yiddish/German word that means “universal” or “all inclusive.” It was chosen because of Gershon’s stated desire to reach as many people as possible with the paper’s coverage.

The Algemeiner’s advisory board was led by Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel until his passing in 2016. Today its members include renowned publisher Martin Peretz and longtime israeli leaders Abraham Foxman and Malcolm Hoenlein, among others.

The Algemeiner is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is funded by private donors.

Ukraine's western border is notoriously porous, much more so in wartime. It would be trivial to just fly to Warsaw and cross the border on land

IF Lazerpig is to be believed he said in one of this treams, Lira have been escorted out of Ukraine when he changed his mind and change his status from House Arrest to Deportation after first arrest under charges of Collaborating with Russia.

This moron must have went back soon after and continued doing what he used to that lead to second raid on him. BTW aprently this time Lira pledged guilty and now awaits an official sentence. It's possible that he pledged guilty afte a deal for lighter sentence after he gives information about were are other collaborators.

    >he's just a shitposter :^)
    >what about free speech fricking wectoid :^)
Here's a redpill about Coach Redpill:
Gonzalo Lira has a long career in Russian disinfo ops. He started out directly on RT payroll, then turned his operation into a "based and redpilled professor tells truths about the fallen west" shtick. When he had garnered an audience, particularly in the American terminally online rightwing, he started to concentrate more and more into lying about donbabwe, crimea and luganda. He's a slimy zigger propaganda operative and more than likely a spy. He should have been locked up the first time SBU knocked on his door.
More over, kvetching about rights and freedoms are such a weak attack vector. Democratic countries suppress freedom of speech during wartime to prevent information from falling into enemy hands. A momentary sppression of rights to protect other rights is a well established concept. Here Ukraine is suppressing Gonzo's free speech rights to protect the right to life of Ukrainian citizens.

      >Democratic countries suppress freedom of speech during wartime to prevent information from falling into enemy hands.
This. To put it into nice terms

      >be navy
      >know an enemy warship is in the area
      >find a target you think is a warship
      >fire on it
      >it doesn't activate radar, ecm, or try to evade your missile
      >it dies
      >you realize that there was also an enemy freighter in the area
      >you don't know if you hit the freighter (hence the behavior) or got very lucky and hit the warship
      >you can't see it since there's a storm and the enemy waters are too contested to get recon near the wreck
      >you go to enemy news outlets, if a ship was sunk with 400 men onboard surely they'd report it
      >nothing
      >you now have to act as if the warship is still there

It's your "right" as a "journalist" to report on a ship being sunk, but the consequences of you publishing it are severe. Nobody is going to blame you in a healthy democratic society for reporting on the warship after it's loss is no longer consequential, or after the war. But an hour after the ship is sunk?

Ukrainians haven't needed visas to enter the EU for years, and were in fact getting EU assistance even before the war.
