>tfw you weld yourself in a tiny steel coffin by accident, then realize your the only one left to close up shop for the evening and you are going to suffocate and die before anyone knows what happened to you haha
That would be easier with one of those 18v handheld cordless welders, instead of getting in there with that inconvienient cord. I heard in the other thread that pros use cordless tools exclusively since the have more power.
true, i wouldn't do a tricky job like that without my Milwaukee Fuel M18 Cordless Stick Welder
it can deliver up to 50 amps of raw power for about 5 seconds total, so i have to be quick but my wife always says i finish too fast so nbd
that seems like a bad design. things are assembled in the wrong order. first weld whatever he is welding inside that box then put the cover on and weld it
The helical flights inside the drum of a concrete mixer truck are all welded by hand. Some poor fricker has to climb in there and weld that shit. All day. Every day.
I usually find the fricky position ones to be more fun actually
That seems comfy actually, I'd like to crawl into a duct and not be bothered by my coworkers from time to time.

You're one of those people who don't understand that intrusive thoughts aren't real, aren't you?
>intrusive thoughts aren't real
What?
Just weld yourself out.
>trapped in a steel box with a tool that can cut steel boxes

Just like any other labor job
Welding is more fun than wrench work. In the field id rather be in hard spot welding than hard spot fighting a wrench.
>i'm a slagman
309 stainless tig. I will now call him slag man. Smallest one ive ever done/seen
Meet kilroy
You need a fan blowing air into the space to do shit like this right? Theres no way you guys do this shit without proper ventilation... right?
that's just blowing away the shielding gas bro
You can get a welding mask with either PAPR or a conventional respirator.
That's not even enclosed, it gets way the frick worse than this

Not for my narrow ass, that's for sure.
Those are pretty big aren't they? I guess they vary but you've probably got a decent amount of room at least towards the middle.
my grandma weld big ass gas lines after ww2, while still running gas
