My brother in Christ, in my state it costs 19 dollars for an archery permit that lets you shoot 2 deer and 2 turkey, plus 7 dollars for each additional antlerless deer you want to shoot. Then small game and fishing costs another 19 dollars and that allows you to catch up to like 50 fish a day. For less than 40 bucks a year you can feed yourself every day if you wanted to, sounds like a deal to me. Most hunters spend more on their casual jeans than that so I don't wanna hear its too damn expensive or outrageous

If you love the outdoors, go for it. It's one of the most PrepHole choices available. Also look into environmental technician, conservation biology (many 2 year college programs), forestry, ecosystem management technician, etc. If you want to be outside do what you can to be there.
