ok explain why they don't work once again.
If you can hit a bird you can hit a drone.
I'm not taking of actual military drones, but the weaponized DJI types
it's out of control past that and it's always better than just waiting to be blown apart
At 30-40 meters pellet goes arround 500fps. The load hitting the target is way less than 1 ouce, therefore a low kinetic energy transfert.
For a goose you'd want at least 3-5 pellets hitting target at ~650-700 fps, for a rabit 550-600 fps is enough though.
it's sufficient to damage the drone enough to disable it. Even a broken propeller blade renders the drone ungovernable.

wrong, go watch people torture testing maviks on youtube, you'll see that they can still fly after losing like 30-40% of their total propeller length. a hole from a buck/birdshot isn't gonna do fricking anything
you'll have to somehow destroy/severely damage all 4 propellers at once (good fricking luck if the drone is the type that uses 6 or 8)

if the drone is within 30m you can definitely take it down with a shotgun.
Obviously you won't take down reconnaissance drones but suicide drones and bomber drones yes. I've rarely seen footage of drones deploying mortar shells above 20-30m.
Both parties in the Ukraine war have the military so fricked up by embezzlement they don't even buy shotguns for their soldiers, not to mention shotgun attachments (if they even exist for AKs).
show me a video of a drone hitting anything from those altitudes and we'll talk again.
They drop mortar rounds with 3d printed fins not fricking smart bombs
Masterkey my beloved….
oh look another moronic "shotguns vs drones" thread. We've only had 50,000,000 of these since the war started...

NTA but just to humor you:
Did it occur to you that birds and drones might fly at different heights?
they very often get close enough when attacking
when they are far away and not attacking
>shoot down drone
>it keeps going because of inertia and blows up on top of you
Yeah

Drones are hard to see and almost impossible to hit, and can even shrug off 5.45 without falling out of the sky

*hovers 100m above u*
psh, nothing personnel

Fishing nets also work.
You want a proper sporting clays gun. The masterkey is really meant for breaching. Get a longer barrel and high velocity bird shot.
>Shotty good to 60 yards maybe
>Drone drops grenades from 300 yards up
Now what?
10ga with choke.
