>you do know white contractors do the same shit-tier work for triple the price, right?
Everyone knows if you want quality concrete work you gotta get the mexicans. Still wet behind the ears is best. And if the foreman is the only one who can even manage broken english will get you the best results....
Stucco too.
White crews will do worse quality work, take 10x longer and cost 5x as much... Anything concrete is straight up Mexican territory.
Agreed, just make sure not to trust them with any electrical work, stick to concrete. Italians are good with concrete too but hard to find any in the trades anymore
It's portugese here in Canada, not mexicans. They are the kings of concrete. But same story, the worse their english is, the better the workmanship and pricing.
a Mexican wrote this post. Mexicans do cheap and low quality work, like pouring a bit of concrete on the sidewalk to make it temporarily look good, instead of fully replacing it properly
i dont trust anyone to do concrete...theyre gonna mix it too wet so it's easier to finish, and then rip the forms off as early as physically possible instead of letting it cure
I mean ideally and the way I've done it in the past is you do all the prep work yourself. Tearing out an old sidewalk and doing the dirt work to level everything out. Or getting your siding all removed and patching any holes in your sheathing getting it ready for stucco. Then they come in and do the work they are supposed to.... I wouldn't trust them to do all of it with no supervision or guidance. Yeah they will cut corners if you let them. No different than most of these lazy tradie fricks.
For example when I had my house stuccoed I did all the tear off of the old aluminum siding, fixed any issues that needed fixed on the sheathing, added an angle iron stop below the top of my foundation concrete where I wanted them to take the stucco to, and removed a few boards on my front deck and a step in front of the door so they had access to that area. Also added brackets on the front and back of the house that were screwed to studs and were to be buried in the stucco so that I had something to screw my railings to for the front and back deck as well. After all that stuff was done then I called them and they came out and prepped for stucco with tar paper and chicken wire. Next day they were out and did a gray coat. A few weeks later they were back for the color coat. Done.
>register LLC >hire a bunch of mexican laborers >hire white people to do the sales side incl door-to-door in rich neighborhoods >send the mexicans to do the work (landscaping, driveways, patios, etc)
why doesn't everybody do this? customers only deal with white people but the underpaid mexicans do all the work.
>what happens when the mexican fricks up the job
you're right, it's too bad no company has ever had to deal with a bad job coming back and insurance doesn't exist specifically for companies huh. guess small businesses just don't exist.
send them back out to do a shitty patch job to get the owners off your back for a bit, then dissolve the company and start a new one so there's no one to sue in a few years when everything starts falling apart
that's like contracting 101
I can't imagine doing my work with a fricking camera strapped to my head.
Guy doesnt work thats why
Nobody cares about quality anymore, so they use the cheapest mouthbreathers they can find to maximize profits and avoid paying some taxes
And what's wrong with that?
Everything

Yeah we really dont have any italians much around these parts so i wouldn't know about that. Plenty of mexicans though!

idk, but it's illegal and it's time they all get the rope
do you speak spanish?
what happens when the mexican fricks up the job and now you get to lose money or get sued after you walk away?
>do you speak spanish?
yes

>contract insurance

>frick up one job
>rate is tripled
If it works, why aren't you doing it?

sorry but nobody wants to pay for a groove maker. You'll need to do more than sit on your ass to get work.
