I have bad toe nail fungus that I need to grind down (I already use topicals and I'm going to start an oral antifungal soon).
I was thinking of using a dremel. What's the safest way of doing this so it doesn't get caught on something and rip my nail off?

I'll explain it to you. Under universal healthcare you would receive healthcare for "free" (probably a nominal cost) but the services are actually funded by taxes. This means every time you use this healthcare you are receiving a return on your taxes. However, these programs would be mainly funded by increasing taxes on the stupidly wealthy (think Bezos) who currently pay little to zero taxes.
And everytime you aren't using healthcare services, you are subsidizing illegal immigrants and extremely obese Black folk in poor health instead of admonishing them for their poor life choices. If I get diabetes and I choose to pay a doctor and pharmacist out of my own pocket to treat it and never have the realization that maybe I should stop shoving 4000 kcal worth of McDonald's in my mouth, that's fine because it's my own poor decisions and nothing else that's affecting anyone else but my own wallet and health. Another taxpayer who is healthy shouldn't have to pay for my poor decisions. Cutting disc. Start from the end removing each section one by one until you can't (because it's flesh underneath). Once you can't then use a grinding wheel. For a long term solution invest in a OTC fungicide because if the fungus doesn't go away you'll just have to do this again later.
I would try an ceramic abrasive burr on slow speed. Your main problem is going to be controlling the tool so it doesn't bounce around. Ideally you would clamp the tool in a fixed position and move your toe against it. Sounds weird but you'll get better control that way.

i was thinking about this and have an el cheapo idea that you goblins can try at your own risk if you feel like it.
get a bottle of povidone iodine and some large water proof sticking plasters with that absorbent shit in the center, like pic related.
take the back off the plaster and use a dropper or something to soak the absorbent pad with iodine, then do your best to fasten the whole thing so the pad is sealed over the infected nail. the iodine should absorb in pretty quick, like within a day or two. then take off the thing and let it dry out. repeat that every few days or so. im just guessing but that much iodine should easily be enough to kill all the fungus in the nail.
of course the smart thing is to get proper medical help etc. etc. if your toe falls off or you get iodine poisoning or something after doing this thats your problem
