500kt. They're working on MIRVs already so I think they'll skip the "hahaha big bomb go boom" phase America and the Soviets went through. A 500kt warhead could easily be standardized to deliver one on an IRBM, 5 on an ICBM. North Korea has a pretty good Iskan-dong IRBM for that purpose that could reach all of Korea and some of Japan. MIRVs are consistent with the "giant frick off road mobile Titan II" Kimmy keeps showing off.

500kt would also be their personal best.

Imagine if instead of larping fattymcfatface here spent all that money on tractors and fertilizer

They were banned from buying tractors and fertilizer in the '90s, which is why millions of them starved to death. Sanctions and embargoes are 21st century siege warfare.

No they're not, no nation is obliged to sell to another nation, trade is consensual.

Then why is the US going out of its way to prevent OTHERS from trading with each other, heeb?

They actually were. North Korea was a Soviet check on China, when the USSR collapsed north Korea lost its benefactor and the state department decided to get rid of a communist rump state by sanctioning them.
North Korea was barred from importing agricultural equipment, fertilizer, computer chips, raw metal, and coal, along with a bunch of other shit. The state department thought that either the Kims would surrender their country to south Korea in exchange for lifetime passes to Walt Disney world and a suburban house in Idaho, or the north Korean people would overthrow them once they began to starve.
Instead, Il-Sung and Jong-Il managed to rebrand themselves as a Chinese check on south Korea for coal and rice from China, decided which parts of their population were surplus and could be sold to Russia as labor in exchange for gasoline, and then put everyone else aside from the security apparatus on starvation rations.
The US gave token food aid because Chinese media and fifth columnists were portraying the north Korean famine as being caused by the US, but we never gave enough food to actually alleviate the famine because we were hoping that the country would collapse if trade was cut off for long enough. Eventually Yeltsin was ousted in Russia and the US lost the ability to decide Russian foreign policy, so north Korea's economic prospects brightened a little bit and they could start buying fertilizer and tractor parts from Russia again.

You've seen what happens to both dictators and democracies who give up their nukes, right? Kimmy has no interest in becoming Qaddafi.

I really do think he's doing his best at this point. I think he understands that there's no future for Communism in the north but de-escalation is going to take a long, long time.

You know I wonder if this guy actually has some kind of condition which causes him to be fat like that. Even the highest level generals and lifetime government officials are rake skinny, it’s not like there’s a bunch of processed foods and corn syrup drinks there for him to get fat off of, yet he’s been that size his whole life?

Nukes are high tech, but they're not super high tech - they're ww2 technology. Even Pakistan managed to do it, and under sanctions too.
