-100 to morale
Often has uncooked meats in it that can't be made safe for consumption.
If I had no other option and hadn't eaten in a week, maybe.
Pet food in the United States is legally required to be safe for human consumption.
A lot of people died in the Great Depression because it wasn't.
>farm-raised chicken
love how they make battery-farm sound appealing
I'm not absolutely broke so why not buy something better?
>kielbasa
So you eat food that already tastes like dog food
Wow
I work in a large chain of pet stores in Poland, a country known for its variety of sausages (I mainly buy kabanosy at meat shops, but in my family's farm, we have fantastic recipes for sausages, including wild game ones). I work in the purchasing department and have had numerous opportunities to try animal food. It definitely doesn't taste like sausage! Many spices can be harmful to the digestive system of animals, so the content of pet food is devoid of them. If you're interested, I can recommend a few "delicacies" from pet stores, such as cans of tuna. Just avoid buying anything from Mars Inc. except for veterinary diets!
American kielbasa is basically the same as a hotdog except the beef content is slightly higher
>american kielbasa
>basically hotdog
Oh God, no!
It isn't even close beyond the smokiness. Hot dogs are an emulsification. Kielbasa you can actually recognize the meat and fat bits. Having said that I always lived in areas with Polish diaspora. Who knows what Kielbasa in Southern California is like.
What the frick bro no
Hunting, fishing, grilled meats, burritos, jerky
All you need is heat, grill, fire, something like that
This is what I would do for camping really
The Bible says, when you siege a wooded position, keep the fruit bearing trees
You can cut the non-food bearing trees for fortifications (trenches, tunnels, dugouts)
And then the natural, food-bearing trees, as well as everything else can help feed your men
But if you are waging a counter-insurgency with a logistics chain, you will need centralized rations
If you are just a local militiaman, then you have a job, access to food, access to nature for food and water
If you are under heat, I'd ensure my men have food, water, shelter, stuff like electricity but tight opsec
If you are occupying a position as a counter-insurgent, you could go to local joints or MREs all that
This is like those Chinese nutrient squares they have in their MREs, absolutely demoralizing.
Why though?
YTDNM
they're dogshit
No, they turn into dogshit
well, not yet
Human food is cheaper you dunce
For real man just have dried beans if you want something cheap, stable, and calorie dense.
Short trip to kidney stones eat cat food dipshit.
sure, if you are some kind of dog
A Dog of war perhaps?
Marines are already eating crayons, don't have them start eating dog food as well
You gotta take the monkey food-pill. It's for growth and development, all monkeys do is fight and frick so good enough for me. $2 a lb
honestly, in case of an apocalypse going to a pet store while everyone is raiding the grocery stores might not be the worst idea. Shelf life is extremely long for these things, and even if it's gross, it's still calories you can survive on for years. All of it is either canned or bagged too, so you can just grab it and store it for decades.
Russia did that though?
My sisters dogs got feed some bougie shit that was like brown rice, sweet potatoes and salmon or chicken. I imagine it is better than what your average Russian gets now. So if the dog food is bigher end it probably isn't the worst thing.
Wait a sec, I remember this Russian scheme!
