If we're just talking about the army there's an argument to be made, but they really don't have much of an air force to speak of right now, and no navy at all.
Not even close, that's what makes it so funny.
They have lots of manpower through volunteers and conscripts but they have no navy, little airforce and an army made mostly of soviet era equipment. France and Germany are much more capable militaries.
>Germany is bad by western standards so they must be worse than high eastern standards
That is where you are wrong, the worst western militaries are still better then the best eastern with the exception to the huge manpower advantage China has.
Germany's problems are the same as Russia's - Soviet-era generals, incompetent minister and incompetent commander-in-chief.
Unlike Russia, the German army however is slightly larger proportionately and much better equipped, despite the 30 years of mismanagement. And the officers are free to tell Zorn and Lambrecht to get stuffed.
ukraine has no navy, their air force is pretty weak but their army is large. the army's problem is that its equipment is all over the place with soviet crap, NATO weapons new and old and their training is all over the place
I will say one thing Ukraine has had going for them is the ability to absorb equipment losses. Looking at the other side of the Oryx coin we see over 250 tank losses, about 400 other armored vehicles, more than 100 pieces of artillery and more than fifty aircraft not counting UAV's... this is just the stuff they have pictures of.
Imagine if a European army took those types of equipment losses, they would be out of armor, artillery and have half an air force. Ukraine's big Soviet stockpiles combined with Western donations have kept them in this fight.
They are scraping the barrel and losing thousand of oinkers now after 10th wave of press-gang mobilisation. On the contrary, Russia is using only the small required % of professional, motivated and well-trained troops to off-handedly outfence and slice piggers to bacon shreds with calculated and precise pushes. You are delusional, /k/operiño.
The most active military, at the very least.

They don't NEED a navy to sink Russian ships remember?
2nd only to Moldova
Nonono anons they do have a navy, it's just spending money training seamen to fight tanks. You know Russian tanks are a big obstacle at sea
Not even close, that's what makes it so funny.

>Germany
your IQ is showing....

How do you know that?
>much better equipped
are they really
It's possible, just through sheer numbers, but they're fairly incompetent and lack firepower and armor.
They're the only military in Europe with experience against a peer-ish enemy
Ground army yes. Anti air yes. Spec ops probably. Air force hard no. Navy... well no.
Lol no. That's why it's funny an actual military like Russia's is struggling so bad.
They do have the most active troops, unless russian memes about "fighting with just 10th of forces" are actually true (lol).
Equipment and training wise they are still probably not in top though, and they still have no legit air force or navy.
ukraine has no navy, their air force is pretty weak but their army is large. the army's problem is that its equipment is all over the place with soviet crap, NATO weapons new and old and their training is all over the place
I'd imagine so, they're literally the only war time mobilized army on the continent.

It also helps that they've captured more tanks and ifvs than they've lost. According to Oryx the Ukrainians have: captured vs (lost)
>Tanks 356 (263)
>AFVs 155 (135)
>IFVs 379 (227)
>APCs 72 (105)
>MRAPs 10 (6)
>IMVs 38 (138)
>Command & Signals 60 (7)
>Engineering 80 (25)
>SPATGMs 11 (17)
>Heavy Mortars 8 (0)
>Arty Support 28 (12)
>Towed Arty 49 (52)
>SPG 76 (53)
>MLRS 41 (22)
>AA Guns 12 (4)
>SAMs 22 (46)
>Radar 8 (22)
>Jammers 5 (1)
>Trucks 363 (343
>strongest military in Europe
>not even have the strongest military in ukraine

Hahaha professional motivated this moron forgot Wagner, the elite PMC was openly recruiting from prisons
We'd probably get obliterated by the UK or France just because they're not some asiatic mutants.
