the longer I look at it the more idiotic it gets >a windshield? >leaving the largest part of your body unprotected >from the front no less
two sets of lungs and hearts or not, its going to hurt like hell when your larger set of vital organs are shot
Sure, or even 6-8 legs. All would be interesting for cyborg troops. Though it'd probably require a lot of training or those born to it or special software or something to let a human brain coordinate movement properly.
I don't understand centaur anatomy. They're like half human and three quarters horse, making them an improper fraction. They have three distinct body segments and six limbs, making them one exoskeleton away from being a giant insect. Do they have human organs in the human torso and horse organs in the horse torso? Is one of the torsos just empty?
The only advantage legs have over wheels and track is that they are better at traversing rocky terrain. Even then, being bipedal would be better in more situations then being a quadruped.
Only current use is the Tactical Rape Horse
No, but it has use in matrimony.
Sure, you could run hella fast on open ground and carry way more gear.
But you would struggle in urban environments designed for bipeds.
What about a detachable back?
You could carry a bigger load to the battlefield, maybe even fire bigger weapons with less recoil.

Stop it.

Lots and lots of intestines for maximum water retention
imagine the skeleton
>Is one of the torsos just empty?
One is for food intake, the other for breeding, and both do digestion.
They also have two rib cages
More stability, mostly. In theory, you also get more running speed but you'd need a spine you can crack like a whip.
four legs good
two legs better
Flying without wings is better

Horse pussy
you'd need twice as many APCs
