Why is it so gassy? /k/ told me that modern flow-through cans eliminate back gas, and even without them you have charging handle gaskets to block it. Did Sig not think of this?
I guess it’s the new round. Flow through cans are nothing else than low back pressure cans. If you increase pressure 80000 PSI even the “low” back pressure ends up way above acceptable levels. Wonder how this thing would shoot with a classic can.

i think it will become what scar 17 was to socom, meaning a niche specialized rifle for situation where more range and power is needed
imo it should have had a standard ar15 type buffer spring, that would reduce recoil
