When I lived in Florida though I always kept my P32 in my swimming trunk pockets while I was at at the beach. (I carried the PPU .32ACP with the sealed primers)

It's best to off-body carry at the beach. Shove a folded carbine into a beach bag or backpack. The beach is one of the few places where OBC is a sound tactical decision, since you have up to several hundred feet of sightlines to ID threats from afar.
Honestly I never thought to bring one, I really get more tripped up about how I don't know what the protocol is for doing with your car keys unless you bring a girl along that wants to "sun bathe". Assuming I'm going swimming otherwise my other thing is getting egged into swimming out as far as possible like I'm trying not to give myself a darwin award for not being a great swimmer. Someone always wants to challenge you to see how far out you can swim like I'm okay with that I just want to bring a jar with me to pull off the leaches afterward so I can save them for fishing. Usually my goal is to pull fish out of the water and not go into it. But yeah mostly it's the car keys like am I suppose to hide them in my prison pocket?

Would the Phlster Enigma work here? It’s supposed to be a good option for gym carry, but swim trunks would be even harder to conceal with.
